It's all gone quiet over here boys, let's have a discussion - what is your favourite single season of your lifetime and main reasons?

1971-1972. Sublime football, everything came-together. That side was imperious and even the haters had to admit it. Should have won the double, but (as usual) the FA did whatever they could to thwart that. Finally won the FA Cup (when it was the greatest club tournament on the planet), and wore the coolest strip/badge we've had before or since. ('92 has to get a mention, though, as it was wonderful for my generation to see the Whites back in such commanding fashion). PK

I just remember whoever won the ball there were instantly 10 players moving forward. That was a relentless die hard never give up attacking team. A whole team of stars all doing what they were paid to do. Exciting times. Never feared anyone.

Damn what I would give to see leeds win one trophy, let alone the double. I might have to see if there's a DVD or something from the 92 season as I was 1 year old then! Got to have some glory to watch fom my own lifetime.
