Leeds should sign Junior Hoilett (Blackburn) or Victor Moses (Wigan) and get Kasnic (Bolton) i think that's how you spell them

Believable2 Unbelievable7

More chance of wigan winning the Premier League

Agree7 Disagree0

What we going to pay them with high fives and hugs. Are you for real?

Agree8 Disagree0

Bit of off our league at this moment in time lad

If we get ward I for one will be ecstatix, I think by signing pearce warnock has set the standards for the rest of the transfer window, would be interesting to see what CM warnock can come up with to replace clayts and our new striker too MOT!

Part of me is pleased that QPR avoided relegation. I really don't fancy Kenny as a goalkeeper. It also means that NW can concentrate his efforts elsewhere instead of picking the bones from his ex team.

Believable4 Unbelievable1

Not the biggest fan of Garth Crooks but his summing up of Paddy Kenny today was spot on, basically he said Kenny was pants and has been all season.

Agree2 Disagree1

Kenny IS pants

Agree3 Disagree1

On the contrary, now QPR have avoided relegation, Mark Hughes will now have a clear out so you can expect us to be linked with every leaving QPR player (yes again...). Whether Neil actually wants to sign any of them, only he knows. Neil said a few weeks ago that he expected QPR to stay up and he was right. Lets just wait and see who he brings in.

Id take Buzaky at this level and thats it, he barely plays

I think we should take a gamble with Owen Hargreaves on a pay as you play deal because he's getting released by city and he would be a class player at this level as long as he doesn't get injured
LS
MOT

Believable9 Unbelievable6

Good player but he should just give it up, the worst player in premier league for getting injuries, better using the wage else where

Agree3 Disagree0

Michael owen maybe worse?

Agree4 Disagree1

Or Muamba..

Agree4 Disagree7

The person who put muamba should be banned because its a disgrace the bloke nearly died. there a differance with dodgy knees muscle injury this is y you should put a username in to this site to use it wat do u think ed {Ed013's Note - I am not sure how it got posted there. If it is with vicious intent or bad humour I will ban the person for good. I think and hope Muamba will play again, so the person may be saying that they would like him to come to Leeds so lets wait on a reply. On the username front, I encourage all fans to sign off with a name/username and also leave your emails so we can identify frequent users, rather than us going off your IP's. It works really well on the Arsenal page and everyone gets to know each other and it enables you to get a good reputation with Editors and other fans. There is a members section being made, but it will take time for each club to have their own}

not Leeds banter as such but Joey Barton should never pull a football shirt on again, a total disgrace to professional football, he should be kicked out of the game all together for his past and present conduct both on and off the field.

Believable10 Unbelievable3

Lets bring him to leeds hes a legend after today !! lol and if u watch replay he was not totally at fault this time ! mot

Agree3 Disagree7

Id have him at leeds

Agree5 Disagree7

Yet most of you want EH diouf who spits everyone and is a by far bigger disgrace, where the sense in that?

Agree4 Disagree5

Hed be perfect for leeds though lol

Agree6 Disagree3

Don't say that. It's talk like this which means he'll end up at ER along with Spit The Dog's best friend.

Agree0 Disagree5

The blokes a ledge would love to see him in a leeds shirt! MOT

Agree5 Disagree6

Bet he did it on purpose to help city beet the scum to the title and get the sack so he can join warnock for free, becoming a Leeds legend like mr jones

Chorley White

Agree5 Disagree0

You're all ****ing crazy if you want Barton at Leeds. I'd rather have Diouf and that's saying something.

Agree5 Disagree5

It would be the rebirth of the REAL dirty leeds!

Agree3 Disagree0

Original poster here how can you say he was not at fault he kneed a player in the back just out of anger and nothing else, that is really what you call assault, he should have charges bought against him for that alone, he's a friggin nutter, mentally unbalanced violent thug, o.k. Tevez was not a complrtr innocent party in all this but Barton cannot just lash out because he said Tevez hit him first. No excuse pal he is bad through and through and should be made a example of.

gearge boyd has not been approached by leeds , the only club to show an interest is middlesbro but he dont wanna go there , apparently he would snap NW hand off to play for leeds , boyd was the best man at the guys wedding who i heard this from MOT

Agree6 Disagree3

We have had enough bad press over last 10 years or so, no more thanks.

Sir Phillip

Agree1 Disagree0

The media would love that

Agree2 Disagree0

Everyone keeps going on about players and there attitudes but we have had some nutcases at leeds aswell vinny jones prime example but if managed right and with the right players playing with them id take both players to er

Agree1 Disagree1

Him over diouf!

Agree0 Disagree3

For anyone stating that Barton is a liability, he only had 8 yc this season, which isn't that bad, he was also only sent off twice, yesterday which really if the ref saw th whole thibg theb Tevez would have gone aswel, the other was down to Bradley Johnsons acting.

I don't agree with the kick out afterwards, but the man is a quality player, his wages will be far too high, but if he became available for the right price I'd have him!

'C'

Agree2 Disagree1

'C' you're talking nonsense. He is a complete and utter liability.

Leeds United Championship Winners 2012/13

Believable11 Unbelievable4

Doesn't look right.

Agree3 Disagree5

Yeah just don't feel right

Agree4 Disagree4

As a fan the thought of that would ba amazing, if it would happen would struggle to be sober for a month, but in all serious would have to be as pissed as that to believe that to be the case 4th at VERY best ( just a realistic prediction)

Nobody really knows tho, could happy if warlocks get the right players in that fight for each other and keep a winning form, could happen, can dream

Possible team next season, Let me know what you think :)

GK: Lonners
RB: Ward
CB: Lees/Bamba
CB: Pearce
LB: Pugh/Lewington
RM: Snoddy
CM'S: Literally anyone could be in her ebut for me i would like to see any two of..... Clingan, Greening, Boyd, Norris or Leadbitter.
LM: Varney or Mcleary
ST: Becchio/McCormack
ST: Bothroyd/Varney

If Ward signs and plays CM then Lees will go to RB and Bamba will probably come in at CB.

Other CB options are St.Ledger, Hobbs, Paddy McCarthy.

MOT!

Believable0 Unbelievable3

Lees will only play right back if our first choice RB is injured.

Agree3 Disagree0

I'd love to see Norris and Leadbitter in midfield. Both very technically gifted and not afraid to tackle

Agree1 Disagree0

Few good names in there, quite realistic too. would have pugh on the bench though. not even sure what his best position is. {Ed037's Note - I don't think he has a 'best' position, although he prefers LM}

what club do you think clayton will go to both cardiff and liecester think they have secured his signature for a fee around 1.5mill. Also do you think we were right to transfer list him?

Believable4 Unbelievable0

I dont think we should have transfer listed him at all. would let him go for 1.5 though.

Agree2 Disagree3

Clayton's not good enough for a team that wants promotion and I don't care where he goes.

Agree4 Disagree2

Clayton bound to stay and leave on Bosman. This is all about his agent making good money. The contracts agents make players sign these days means there is little the player can do once the agent has decided it's time for a money pay day.

Can someone enlighten me why we sold kasper schmeichel? I know it's a year ago and I understand we got him on a free and sold for rumoured to be around £1.2 million, but wouldn't we of been better off keeping him? He was young and had flashes off been a top keepers, good shot stopper, very acrobatic, and good distributer of the ball, personally think he had alot more to his game than loners, I think he was very happy at Leeds and was gobsmacked when he was sold,would of been a good keeper if we got promoted as well, so does anyone have an idea as to why we sold him? {Ed013's Note - From my source he thought he was bigger than the club, wanted more money and a bad egg in the dressing room. It was also good business for the club, although not sure where the money is!}

Believable7 Unbelievable1

I would say he was sold for being too ambitious tbh and money in ken's pocket. Thats not to say I thought he was a great keeper I thought he looked well dodgy towards the end of the season(with us) and I think lonners is a far better shot stopper than kasper. Thats not to say lonners is perfect by any means neither of them are. On another note I see Joe lewis is available on a free, although im sure alot of prem clubs are looking for him. {Ed037's Note - I personally think we should go for Henderson}

Agree1 Disagree1

Didn't think he would be a Diva as he went to league 2 football with notts, huge step down what ever the reasons always seemed down to earth interviews, ha yeah that money that got lost with the gradel money, I can't prove it but pretty sure it went into the new east stand boxes.

Agree1 Disagree1

13 May 2012 12:05:41
I think the post is referring to the additional year Warnock want's Snodgrass to sign on for, so that he can be sold at the end of the season if we don't get promotion and not just leave on a free.

What Snodgrass gets in return is better money, probably a signing fee, and the agreement that we will sell him if we can't get promoted this year.

Believable9 Unbelievable0

Thats what i thought.....but everone was acting otherwise...

Believable2 Unbelievable12

What difference does it make why he left, the guys past it now,why dont you ask him to marry you,we dont want him back so get over it.

No pace, cant tackle, cant score, Sicknote, would cause dishormony in the DR and amongst the fans, would demand ridiculous wages- its a huge no from me! Mac

Agree1 Disagree0

Hi, good call Mac, all this "Smudger" back nonsence is just that, nonsence.
For the romantic rose tinted glasses, (and short/no memory) people, how about Goldilocks ,one of the bears, and the tooth fairy in midfield with the muffin man up front?.
It reminds me of what Bumble Lloyd once said about an English cricketer, " he can't bat, he can't bowl, he can't field, surely he is not playing test cricket because he looks good when the drinks come on?"
That would be Smith, I am so glad Leeds got shot of him when they did, for whatever reason.
Tes!, But you can ridicule me as Tes!,

Agree1 Disagree0

You cant knock smithy, he worked hard for the Leeds shirt.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha...Cheers pal (Tes!), glad you agree. This Smith obsession needs to stop its the same every year, last season these poster fans even convinced themselves it was happening and what did smith do? he opted to go to the mk plastics simply for the money, the guys past it....move on! We're moving forward and him backwards, the future bright for us, stop calling on hold hasbeens simply for sentiment value. We need to progress as a club and we need new fresh blood for that!

I hope this isnt true but I cant see Bates spending
that much and still expecting NW to get us up in
his first full season at the club. I can see lots of
new players coming as many have already gone
but we need all the best Championship players
to give us a chance. All the three teams coming
down from the prem will get the best players so
it's going to be hard for us even to reach the
play offs. We had are best team 2 years ago with
the likes of Beckford, Gradel, Howson etc so how
are we going to to it? Pearce is a good start
though but we need another 6 or 7 like him to
stand a chance, and I cant see bates splasing
the cash?

Believable4 Unbelievable2

13 May 2012 10:07:36
The question about Snodgrass is to sell or not to sell? A player can very easily lose form or pick up a debilitating injury at which point hindsight becomes a wonderful thing. Ian Snodin, Harry Kewell, Lee Bowyer, Alan Smith - all players who's star waned after leaving ER. I would love for Snodgrass to stay but we are living in unfortunate times of fiscal prudence. If 'silly' money is offered we should take italthough I doubt the Chairman woukld honour a caveat of the money being re-invested in the team.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Well it's obvious his intentions are that he is not going to sign any time soon, so warnock has abit of a gamble on his hands here, either sell now because we would get a more handsome fee this summer and more chance to find someone to take his role, or wait Christmas any see where we are in the league, but if we was 6th at Christmas that doesn't mean we are guaranted to go up, either think he is worth it and I'll take the gamble and potentially lose more money or sell now for making more money and finding a replacement, what would you do?

Agree1 Disagree0

Cantona, Ferdinand, millner, Lennon the 'wand' don't always stop my friend, you let him go then what does that say about us letting one our best players for years leave, I for one want him to stay!

Agree7 Disagree0

But we didnt as he a greedy self centered git!! i wouldnt have him back, he could have signed but he wanted a signing on fee from everton rather than sign again and benefit us but no thought he was premiership quality but he is not!! hope we dont sign him judas!! {Ed037's Note - He did score 10 goals in his first PL season}
