I think we should take a gamble with Owen Hargreaves on a pay as you play deal because he's getting released by city and he would be a class player at this level as long as he doesn't get injured

For anyone stating that Barton is a liability, he only had 8 yc this season, which isn't that bad, he was also only sent off twice, yesterday which really if the ref saw th whole thibg theb Tevez would have gone aswel, the other was down to Bradley Johnsons acting.

I don't agree with the kick out afterwards, but the man is a quality player, his wages will be far too high, but if he became available for the right price I'd have him!

As a fan the thought of that would ba amazing, if it would happen would struggle to be sober for a month, but in all serious would have to be as pissed as that to believe that to be the case 4th at VERY best ( just a realistic prediction)

Nobody really knows tho, could happy if warlocks get the right players in that fight for each other and keep a winning form, could happen, can dream

CM'S: Literally anyone could be in her ebut for me i would like to see any two of..... Clingan, Greening, Boyd, Norris or Leadbitter.
LM: Varney or Mcleary
ST: Becchio/McCormack
ST: Bothroyd/Varney

If Ward signs and plays CM then Lees will go to RB and Bamba will probably come in at CB.

Other CB options are St.Ledger, Hobbs, Paddy McCarthy.

MOT!

Lees will only play right back if our first choice RB is injured.

I'd love to see Norris and Leadbitter in midfield. Both very technically gifted and not afraid to tackle

Few good names in there, quite realistic too. would have pugh on the bench though. not even sure what his best position is. {Ed037's Note - I don't think he has a 'best' position, although he prefers LM}

Can someone enlighten me why we sold kasper schmeichel? I know it's a year ago and I understand we got him on a free and sold for rumoured to be around £1.2 million, but wouldn't we of been better off keeping him? He was young and had flashes off been a top keepers, good shot stopper, very acrobatic, and good distributer of the ball, personally think he had alot more to his game than loners, I think he was very happy at Leeds and was gobsmacked when he was sold,would of been a good keeper if we got promoted as well, so does anyone have an idea as to why we sold him? {Ed013's Note - From my source he thought he was bigger than the club, wanted more money and a bad egg in the dressing room. It was also good business for the club, although not sure where the money is!}

I would say he was sold for being too ambitious tbh and money in ken's pocket. Thats not to say I thought he was a great keeper I thought he looked well dodgy towards the end of the season(with us) and I think lonners is a far better shot stopper than kasper. Thats not to say lonners is perfect by any means neither of them are. On another note I see Joe lewis is available on a free, although im sure alot of prem clubs are looking for him. {Ed037's Note - I personally think we should go for Henderson}

Didn't think he would be a Diva as he went to league 2 football with notts, huge step down what ever the reasons always seemed down to earth interviews, ha yeah that money that got lost with the gradel money, I can't prove it but pretty sure it went into the new east stand boxes.

I hope this isnt true but I cant see Bates spending
that much and still expecting NW to get us up in
his first full season at the club. I can see lots of
new players coming as many have already gone
but we need all the best Championship players
to give us a chance. All the three teams coming
down from the prem will get the best players so
it's going to be hard for us even to reach the
play offs. We had are best team 2 years ago with
the likes of Beckford, Gradel, Howson etc so how
are we going to to it? Pearce is a good start
though but we need another 6 or 7 like him to
stand a chance, and I cant see bates splasing
the cash?

Yeah definitely, honestly think if we had beckford that first championship season were we finished 7th I think we would of atleast made the play offs and had more chance of going up with them yellows

But we didnt as he a greedy self centered git!! i wouldnt have him back, he could have signed but he wanted a signing on fee from everton rather than sign again and benefit us but no thought he was premiership quality but he is not!! hope we dont sign him judas!! {Ed037's Note - He did score 10 goals in his first PL season}
