Just throwing something out there for discussion.

We are all asking for Mirco (cant spell his last name) , hang on is it Marco. The old guy up front, 4 in the last 3. Right. To stay on and the management to offer a new contract.

But maybe he is just playing for a new contract, or making himself a better a more attractive option for the off shore sides. Just a theory.

In all honesty I think we should keep him, get rid of Doukara, Wood, Erwin and start again with Mirco, McKay and a-nother (x2) .

Yes he has just been given a proper chance, as has Mowatt (been out in the cold for a bit) but it is funny how we are suddenly starting to put some performances together. or maybe Brighton was a real wake up call.

ant is definalty playing for contract or shop window which sadly too many do now days (sam bryam did same thing) but when on form the many is too good for us to let go as we are not full of quality.

i would keep wood, it is hard to get fitness back sometimes as you are always playing catch up but he has good record and has shown glipms of what he can do, although not enough. Next year a on form ant and wood good enough for top six easy

i like douk can score and holds up play works hard and is handful but not quiet good enough and we need betetr options.

maybe they have gone to find a leg so they have something to stand on?

Sorry Mr Cellino!

You are the one, the one to deliver us, the one to take us to the promised land, the city of light, to the place where we belong.

Its not just the fact that the players and manager decided to fix up and play some football. Exactly what they are paid to do. No its not that, you are the savior.

It all because of you.

{Ed003's Note - change of thought takes time d.s. but cheap shots from those that don't get it should be ignored during the early stages.}

i agree it is not all down to M. C when it goes right, however some people want to give him all the blame when it goes wrong which is equally stupid IMO. I do wonder where we would be without m. C I strongly believe without him we would have no club to cheer on so let's enjoy every little win in the mean time. Ed makes a good point change does take time, and the worse state a club is in the more time it must take to corrrect surely. I do wish some leeds fans would be happy for the small blessings and give enough time (least ten years IMO) before burning cofins, hiring planes and banners and acting like hyper kids with laser pens. it does show that the players and staff are behind the manager and MC (and there for the club) as they have shown the perfect reaction to the brighton mauling and mC leaving at half time. Maybe M. C was right to do so and it was a much needed kick up the backside. Then again we might lose on saturday and MC will need hanging again.

Agree2 Disagree0

{Ed003's Note - The responsibility for any business lies at the one in charge bw, you are forever defending him (which I understand as most fans don't want to see bad in there own club) but for others to slate an organisation that has had enough and wants better and bloody well should is just wrong - this mind game of loving him(not you) when 3 wins on the trot happens is wrong imo and so is 3 losses, same goes for that chap in control of the team - Leeds are a huge team who deserve so much better than the people in charge atm in my honest opinion.}

14 Mar 2016 09:24:03
i am only defending him against some charges which I feel should not fall on his door only. When people say sarcasticly we are sorry all is well and it is all because of you I know this is not the case, the three wins do not change much and it is not down to MC alone, by the same reasoning all the problems do not fall with him but privious owners and 15 years of S""t. yes he shouts mouth off too much, he says silly things, makes promsise he can not keep but he is the best we have had for years and track record is good. he has kept players unlike bates and not milked club unlike bates and invested in players unlike GFH. he does want what is best for this club even if he don't always go best way about it. he has made finaces better and improved the team (not just after three wins but on whole compared to when he took over) .

The MC haters are also short sighted and make claims and find faults which they can not back up (on here lots of things have been said that when questioned they can not find answer) which I think lacks logic and reasoning and the main point being if not MC then who? until the who question is answered I think they should be less hostile to our current owner for the greater good of the club.

Would I like a better owner yes? do I think MC is that bad? no he has been dealt bad hand and making best of this hand will take time. Do I think there is someone better waiting in the wing? no not a chance and until this sheik molotsomoney buys leeds I will support the club until I see things like the evil bates did. Things are not as bad as they have been, and that is good. We are not a huge team we are a poor team that has been badly run and pilliaged for too many years to make a full recovery just yet. After being on life support it will take time to get 100% health

I will continue to slate the haters who show unfounded comments (not all of them just the unfounded ones) and contiune to slate all these burning coffins etc. this is not finding answers and not helping leeds move forward unless one of these plane flying coffin burning blokes happens to win euro lotto of 300 mill and wants to put it all in leeds.

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Mar 2016 11:25:58
Understand your stance BW, and despite our disagreements, I do respect your viewpoint on MC. I do struggle with the statement "if not MC then who? ". I assume that the majority of posters on this site (me included) are not linked with the football financial world and therefore it is question that cannot be realistically answered. There may be potential owners out there but if they are not prepared to pay the price that Cellino wants it because a mute point.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Mar 2016 12:31:49
i agree fully and I can see where a lot of the mc out people are coming from and agree with a lot of the comments made just think some are unfair. With the if not mc then who I think no one on here other than jeff of course would know who the potential buyers are but their are people who would know this and if their were people are about it would be in print (Red bull, Parkin, Russel Crow etc) I am not sure how serious they are or how much money they have but I don't think anyone in the world at the moment is interested in buying leeds and if they are they are not prepared to put hand in pocket which would suggest to me we are probably better off with MC as he has put hand in pocket

I do wish mc would stay out of papers (and preferably court as well) I do wish he would medel with team less (although I think he has learnt this lesson over time) . He has made some massive mistakes, hiring Hock, losing pearson and whatever happened with Thompson and pie tax comments where all huge erros.

however I do not think some give him credit for good he has done and how he has kept players, put some investment in team and generally the team are better off now than when he took over. it might be slow progress but progress is still progress and can not be sniffed at in football.

I like the debates and with any arguement can see for and againsts but I just feel some have been a little unbalanced and do think the coffin burners etc are not helping club and don't think things are that bad.

no coffins were burnt when we went and stayed in league one, no planes where flew when GFH leeched into our club and no laser pens where aimed at Ken Bates when he raped and pillaiged our club and sold our assest to pay for his window cleaner in monico. So I do wonder why all this has blown up now, yes it could be better but I do think it has been so much worse and we are finally on the up.

My biggest fear is that MC is proud and passionate and I would hate for this small minority of (IMO) mindless fans to get their way and force MC out as I think they would kill the club completely at worse and make us suffer very badly at best.

Agree1 Disagree1

14 Mar 2016 12:42:47
Well BW. I don't suppose anyone will be surprised when I say I agree with every word.
I have have never seen a single person say they wanted MC to buy us when he did. I certainly never would have chosen him, IF there had been a more attractive alternative. But there wasn't. And I'm also not sure we would have still had a club to be supporting if he hadn't stepped in when he did. Do I want him as the owner now? No, not if there is someone with serious money offering to invest in the club and players. But there is no evidence that there is to my knowledge. So I'll support MC until I can see a better alternative. The same applies to SE . I hated him before he joined us, but he's shown a passion that I admire, and I do think it's genuine. When a billionaire Leeds United fan wants to buy us out and bring in a proven top class manager, I'll probably change my opinion. But until then, MC and SE have got my support.

14 Mar 2016 13:06:31
well speedy I am shocked. I do think we should apply for next manager post as a joint thing and failing that maybe as joint presidents of the world so we can put right all the wrongs. only difference is I sadly rated SE and called for him to be manager a long time back (which I was reminded of when we were not doing so well) . I like his no nonesense style and think it suits lesser talented teams in this division and will get a squad like leeds the best results. Funny that someone put on here that when we were not doing well Se was playing a very itialian un-SE like style and it didn't suit him or the team so hopefully he has learnt from this and long may our improved form continue.

good points BM - too many people respond to things with knee jerk reactions and don't always consider or wait to see the bigger picture. I've said before on here as far as i'm concerned the jury is still out on MC but annoying him is unlikely to end up working in our favour as he does own the club. he's certainly invested more than the leech Bates so far and although its not Man Citeh money we are improving. if he continues to help us build then fair enough he just needs to interfere a bit less I think and let the experts do what they are paid to do - we tend to do better that way.

Good post B W pretty much what I have said and been saying .
M C is certainly not the worst we have had .
Gfh are a cancer and I believe they are a major reason why M C has not brought E R.
As shareholders M C has to be careful with this one, and no I'm not pro or against .
The way Mc Dermott was treated was appalling, Hock shocking, initial players mis-guided .
But he has learnt and things have improved with squad.
Less court action and keeping out of the media may help his cause .
I believe he has been given dreadful media coverage from before he brought Leeds .
The press have delighted in painting a dark and abstract picture of the guy, recent reaction from his sons on media which they should not have done but, if you give it then get it back don't complain.
I would like to give M C another season, hope he keeps S E and supports him with a number of top signings .
The mess the club was in prior to his arrival to some extent we are lucky we had someone with the knowledge of running a club, look at Bolton.

great points dog, also good point about the media, they love to slag leeds and have enjoyed painting a bad picture (some warrented and mc has not helped himself) . But still leeds could be took over by Jesus and daily snail would read

leeds brought by hooker loving hippy who has absent father.

you never know, who had us to beat b'burn and espcially cardiff? so burnley and hull might be in trouble? that said we could also love to charlton, that's why you have to love this league. I think we can get to 70 points.

13 Mar 2016 20:56:03
Agree BW, there's a lot to be said for momentum. we are not going to get relegated, the likelihood of getting into top 6 is remote, so can have a go without any anxiety . Hull/ Burnley will feel more pressure to get up as they stand to lose a lot of revenue as parachute money tapers off.

Who knows, the irony is will probably be tougher game playing against likes of charlton as they are fighting relegation.

Wood. 3 mill to score goals. Make any excuse you want. Not that type of striker. Needs service. Either way. 3 mill. Useless return on money. If he ain't that type of striker then he is in the wrong team. Cash in. Get that type of striker in!
Well done boys. 3 on bounce and sounded like a worthy win
Did we play well or just nick it
Great beradi back too!

Wood is not a 20 goal a season striker right now. Good squad/ bench player though. We either need 3 new strikers in the summer or 2 so long as we retain the newly shaven wonder.

13 Mar 2016 09:57:02
Personally I would keep Wood, Mc Cormack's first season was nothing to shout about .
I also believe that with better service he will do better, and one thing we need is a creative midfielder someone like Judge from Brentwood who scores as well .
Notice Wooden not playing and we are winning!

Wood just needs a season to get fit and get his confidence back. A good preseason will see him in good shape next year and he will have a better season.
