play offs this play offs that, Wake up people, take off your blinkers, If and by any miracle we win what's going to happen Warnock wILL STAY And that's the worst thing to happen because we will have to suffer more dross and embarrassment with his style of football, Granted we have played slightly better this last half a dozen games but still not good enuf. Personally I think he has lost it big time.

Believable10 Unbelievable10

Gosh I've never been embarrassed by any form of a Leeds win ha ha, and frankly will never be, I cudent give a flying frog what happens in the last few games so long as they result in the points needed to get promotion. enough said

I feel these optimistic fans cleary didn't go to the peterborough game :/ and I see a lot of people saying I would of taken a draw before the game against palace and foxes, well if u didn't know when your in the play offs u need to win, not accept a draw.

Believable18 Unbelievable2

Can I just say we do have a good chance of playoffs but we need a win on Saturday or it is over not mathamatically but because Huddersfield are poor and they are the worst team we will come up against who will not pull off any shocks unless we let them

Agree8 Disagree3

I agree with Bigmartlufc points make prizers not draws.

depends how you look at it you could draw both games in the semi-final of the playoffs and then draw the final and still get promoted.

13 Mar 2013 18:07:58
a draw is better than a lose there is still a good chance we will get enough points. if we only drop points in 1 more game we will be unlucky not to get playoffs.
we may only need to get to 72 points this season with a few teams having to play each other still.

After saterday we could be 2 points from the playoffs! Brigton play palace and forest are at hull. The tea to watch will be bolton their in good form and have 4 good games coming up, but as we know what is a good game in the championship. I'm not saying we deserve to be in with a shot of the playoffs but the fact is that we are as there are 27 point left to play for and were 5 points off. I know I will probably get a bit of stick for this but just putting my view of things out there. What do you lot think about giving dawson a go against udders?

Believable15 Unbelievable5

I totally agree with u pal on the playoff push. But dowson is no where near ready for first team yet. The kids got good quality on the ball but he's just not developed enough yet. Just my opinion. Mot.

Agree4 Disagree4

I admire your optimism but in reality you usually need at least 73 points for the playoffs. That's 21 from the next 27. I have seen no evidence of this even being a possibility. I hope I'll win the lottery tonight but in all honesty I don't think I will.

Dawson will probably be in the squad next season but this season no chance until were out of the fight for promotion

Agree4 Disagree0

Good post
Dawson will be a good bet for the future.
IF we don't make the play offs I think it would be good to see what the future has in stall for leeds on the pitch, mix a few from the dev squad last 30 mins or so and let's see what happens.
i can't see our new owners wanting to spend loads of cash in the summer, esp when we don't know who our manager will be!

Agree2 Disagree0

Seeing that McCormack and Morison are maybe doubtful for weekend. Lees could be out and Norris would be missing. Maybe a chance for Hall to play a big part. 2 assists at Huddersfield last time. Scored today again in development match. Give him and Habibou a proper bit of game time.

"i can't see our new owners wanting to spend loads of cash in the summer, esp when we don't know who our manager will be!"

I'd be very surprised (and disappointed too) if GFH don't have any clues as to who will be the manager next season.

I just hope it's a 'different' one.

Agree2 Disagree1

Reason being our 'new' owners don't have any mone to spend!

Agree0 Disagree0

Why play habibo? we have seen his capabilities he is like a duck in a tractor (headless duck at that)

Agree1 Disagree0

"After saterday we could be 2 points from the playoffs!"

We could also be 8 points off.

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Mar 2013 11:17:24
''we could be 8 points off''
still a fact that we could be 2 points off though is'nt it?

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree, but with the Dawson situation the fans at Leeds are very unforgiving and would get on his back within 10 minutes if he started awfully. That can break a young player so I wouldn't risk it while we still have something to play for.

Agree0 Disagree0

"'we could be 8 points off''

"still a fact that we could be 2 points off though is'nt it?"

Yes, and STILL a fact we could be 8 points off.

I think a good choice for next manager would be
Robbie Savage - he has vast experience of football
and has the right attitude towards it with his nice
persona off the pitch and his hardman attitude on it.
He knows what is required of footballers on the pitch
and off the pitch so he would be a great role model for
The younger players.
Would also like to see Malcolm Christie come back in
a coaching role - he had good movement and finishing
which I think our forwards could do with learning, just a
shame his doctor told him to retire because I think he would have been quality for us in league 1 and the championship
(When fit of course)

Believable6 Unbelievable39

Lol. oh wait you're not being sarcastic.

Agree10 Disagree0

Have you ever considered comedy as a profession?

Agree12 Disagree1

You may go and try and get jamie c from liverpool done all his coaching certificates can still play good leader and needs experience before liverpool have him as a manager in a few years.

Agree2 Disagree10

. Sorry just picking myself off the floor, that was hilarious.
Savage for the gaffer's job NO NO NO and the funny thing is you got an agree, has your mum got an account here (when fot of course)

Glad to see Habibou getting another chance, may as well send him back now, may well have made a difference and scored winning goal instead of warnock being content with draw

The Jyg

Believable13 Unbelievable3

Strange one this pulled out all the stops to get him to sit on the bench.

if colin doesent rate him let the lad go back if not bl--dy play him.
he may be the difference between 1 point or 3.

Big Grah

Agree14 Disagree0

The rumour I heard down at palace was that Salem Patel forced harribou on to Colin he did not scout him at all and did not want him just appeasing the board by having him on the bench Davide somma would of done a better job
Crossgates bull

Agree0 Disagree1

Habibou is colins secret weapon.
so secret not even he knows what he is for

Agree6 Disagree1

What a joke. have you seen him play? if you had then you would know he isn't ready for this league yet I don't want to judge too early, but from what I have seen at the moment he didn't look good enough. Why does everyone that's just an armchair fan clearly start calling for him to come on like he's some sort of world beater.

come Saturday we could be sat 2 points off 6 th place.
we are now 1 point closer to 6th than we was after last Tuesdays game at Leicester.
we have an easier run than the teams around us.
forest play hull at hull -saturday
brighton play palace -sunday

bolton could be the team to watch at the moment as they have an easy run until the last 4 games which they play
leicester
middlesbrough
cardiff
blackpool

be more positive and carry on marching on together

Please try be optomistic we are 5 points off play offs with 9 games to go so we could still do it. I am ever the optomist and will remain till we don't have a chance at all. Yeah warnock has been bad this season but we have a sustainable team and they play well. The result was a blow but look at teams above us sturggling for consistancy. This league is wide open and despite the warnock out brigade and the "our season is over" group I remain hopeful till the end as the song goes "we been through it together, through the good and bad, we'll stay with you forever, atleast until the world stops going round" this is not the end of the world, we are still spinning, so pick up your shirts, grab your scarfs, drink till you can't drink no more and show the championship and the whole of the footballing world that through adversity we stay together, standing together and marching onwards.

MOT till my dying day

Man of the match from last night. A close run thing but it was fought out by the new signings the candidates were. what a badpass, his uncle what a shockingpass his brother, oh what a poorball but I think the winner that seemed to get more air time was. what a poorcross, I don, t remember leeds signing them but they must be good cause they get mentioned a lot when leeds are playing

Simply we do not deserve to go up. If we can't beat Peterbro at home then there's no chance except for the mathematical chance. but deep down we all know that won't happen either. Season over. End of.

Believable12 Unbelievable7

13 Mar 2013 13:29:18
We were the better team overall last night but we were a bit sloppy and they had 1 fast player with a bit about him that caused us some trouble every now and then. Warnock was forced into 2 substitutions so that made things a little difficult

Agree1 Disagree2

Peterborough have had some good away results this year and that lad from non league was quality for them. NW said that this was one of the hardest games we have in the run in. You know leeds play good against top half of table and struggle with the bottom half. keep the faith the fat lady hasn't even started warming up yet.

Last Tuesday we was 6 points behind Brighton who were in 6 th place no games in hand. We are now 5 points behind forest who are in 6th place so in the week we have actually gained 1 point on 6th place so I still think we can do it . We just started very slow last night. Keep hope. M. o. t

Believable3 Unbelievable2

Ye but if we hadn't given late goals against ww lc cp and beaten a team in relegation trouble we would have been well into play offs already. Chance gone i'm afraid.

Warnock is quoted as saying 'I'm pleased that at Leicester and Palace we showed we can go away and win games now'. Huh?

Believable8 Unbelievable0

Very picky banter. u know what he's trying to say there. just another excuse to have a go at nw.
