Seen a lot of talk about Matty Upson as a possible signing, I would welcome him with open arms, I've been informed by Brighton fans (where I am from) that they would love him back there as he made a massive difference to them last season, he is what we need, Matt Mills would be good, but Upsons experience could be crucial in our bid for promotion.

Green? You sure mate? He was one of the better players last season! Think he's going to be a BMD favourite as well. Have to agree with Peltier though. Slowest defender I've ever seen especially when fullback.

Noel Hunt deal has fallen through. Statement from Leeds says we heard he could score goals so we decided not to sign him.

Seem's like Noel Hunt is coming in, buy Ed correct me if I'm wrong Hunt & Smith are same type of player. We need an out & out goalscorer to get out if this league. Also what's the latest regarding Matt Mills & Reece Wabara? Can see Mills being club Captain if he signs. Mills & Lees will be a good partnership.

Since becoming hooked on Football Rumours, I have developed a soft spot for Leeds and Wolves fans, probably due to their passion. I hope that either Leeds or Wolves go for a few Cardiff City players I rate but won't cost much. Cowie, Philip Kiss and Tommy Smith would do a great job for either club and maybe Joe Mason on loan. All unlikely to feature much next season. So get in there.

I don't think anyone apart from those who run the club know what our financial situation is, so all this we can't afford transfer fees is pure speculation. Bmd has an eye for talent so let's give him time and get behind him and hopefully he pulls off a few shrewd signings that will push us on and get promotion, then we can look at spending some decent money because the minute leeds go up there will be plenty of investors out there wanting to put money into our great club. Going on bmd signings previous he likes young hungry players who want to make a name for themselves and hopefully we will get a couple of young lads in wanting to prove a point. The key areas I think we need is midfield, I'd love someone creative in the middle and plenty of pace out wide, the boy Mackey Stevens from Dundee from what I've seen of him could be a real gem at not too much money. let's hope we finally can replace snoddy and max because since they left we've had no pace or creative spark. For all those demanding that We spend BIG to guarantee PL footy. Answer me two questions.
How much combined did Arsenal pay for Chamakh, Arshevin and Bentner? And how much are they potentially leaving for?
BIG transfer fees, even BIGGER wages, and virtually ZERO impact. Yeah, spend BIG. That's the way to go isn't it?
I have said it before - McD would be daft to pay any form of transfer fee when you see the talent available this summer that's Out Of Contract.
Easily enough to get us promoted this year.
