Disappointed with todays performance as I felt that we were set up to counter our oppositions strengths instead of giving them something to think about. As a consequence, our 4-3-3 formation was more like a 4-5-1 which at home I find to be extremely negative.

The midfield did not break quickly and therefore left Wood isolated. The introduction of Murphy and Antennuci made us play further up the field and in last 25 mins we were the better team. Lucky to get a point based on the full 90 mins but conceivably we could have won the game in the final 25 mins. Thought Cooper and Dallas had good games. Double standards with Botaka as he was not picked as he did not feel he was fit but played Mowatt who was clearly unfit.

yes botaka was strange he could of been on bench instead of doukara . says he wants bigger squad and yet some not had a look in . sloth Erwin makes you wonder . need to do something 8 points behind leaders yes unbeaten but one win . four wins and two defeats is 12points . one win and 5draws is 8points

I just think that although Rosler claimed that Botaka made the decision there was not a great deal of persuasion to at least have him on the bench. Happy for a player to be managed correctly but it is not as if Botaka has not been playing club and international football. It just seemed daft not having him on the bench as an option

I'm with you there Notts. 4-5-1 at home is not positive. More than happy away from home with that. It's not 4-3-3i don't care what anybody says. The last few games have changed when we have gone for the game. Let's do that tomorrow.

We don't like international breaks we never have? Not a great performance today draw fair result need to start from first whistle rather than second half anyway unbeaten still

Well I did say last season if we turn the losses in to draws we have a good chance but this is getting silly! Only joking I'm quite happy wih our start but a couple of wins now and remaining unbeaten would be very nice!

Just back from the match and here are my thoughts.

First half was the worst we have been this season, we could not do the basics really, lacked energy as well, couldn't pass, couldn't seem to do much of anything.

Second half was better, Ant and Murphy made a difference but even then we could have easily
lost, so in a way a point better than nothing and Ant needs to start on Tuesday.

The Defense

Silvestri didn't have much to do but made 2 really bad mistakes which could have led to a goal, one missed a simple cross which was headed back along the line, the other when he passed miles ahead of Cooper led to their guy hitting the post, he looked unsure today so 5.

Bamba again made a couple of good blocks but also made a couple of mistakes which almost cost a goal and partly his fault for the goal, very average today - 5

Cooper - solid really, made a saving tackle from a Bamba mistake, didn't do much wrong to me -7

Taylor - again looked solid, would love to see him advance more -7

Berardi - poor first half, caught out as well for the goal, got better second half and did get forward now and then, not his best game -6

Midfield

Mowatt - did nothing at all for me, sub at half time, looked not a 100% fit had a brace on his leg in warm up, if not fit why play him - 4

Adeyemi - was OK but did not dominate, average game, subbed as we chased game - 6

Cook - ran a lot, some neat touches, better in second half (as was team) first half passed him by so for that - 6

Murphy - second half sub, made a difference, passed well, controlled the ball better than we had, upped tempo - 7

Forward

Byram - did nothing first half, little more in the second but I would have subbed him, had a few chances to shoot but never got close to the target and didn't really look like getting crosses in, another poor game, I would drop him for Tuesday - 5

Dallas - best of the forward bunch until Ant came on, at least beat a few people and created chances, tried hard and did his job - 7

Wood - shocker really did nothing in the game of any note for me - 4

Ant - looked good when he came on, made an impact, nice touches, set up a few things and scored a fine goal, needs to start on Tuesday - 7

So really this was the sort of game I expected against Ipswich, my post on Friday said that I reckon 4 points from the 2 home games with a win away to the Dons. We need to start faster on Tuesday, I would drop Mowatt for Murphy, Bryam for Ant on todays showing and put Erwin/The Wiz on the subs bench.

Marching on, oh and the 25,000 was a little low, were are the fans considering we haven't played for weeks?

Rosler must except responsibility for the poor performance today. His team was set up as a 4 5 1 it was very defensive minded and no wonder Wood looked lost he had little or no support from the midfield with the exception of Dallas. Both Mowatt and Byram should not have been on the park their contribution was virtually nil. You would have thought that Brentford were the home side the way they attacked our goal with four players on every occasion. We were lucky that we ended up with a point and that was thanks once again to that man Antenucci and sadly he has to come of the bench to do it. My message to Rosler stop playing defensive at home and take the game to the opposition Elland Road was once a fortress let's see it again
