Ok, so a bunch of (allegedly) corrupt old cronies with far too much time on their hands set up this little clique (lets call it the FL), and devised some rules to keep out all the riffraff, or people that they don't like or don't approve of (lets call it the Fit and Proper person test). Now these rules are probably not worth the paper they are written on, especially as they apply them only as and when they feel like it, but nevertheless they persist, and will get away with it UNTIL, someone with the brains, balls and money challenges them in court and proves once and for all they haven't got a leg to stand on. Any club can have its own rules - and maybe they don't want to have members who are women, or black or gay, or Italian - but what they want, and what is LEGAL are not the same things. Bring it on MC, please expose the FL for what they actually are. MOT with MC

Football league rules were formed during the times where a football club was not a business. The vast money in the game now means that they are open to litigation which should make them think twice
