12 May 2015 22:38:44
It's red on my BlackBerry notebook aswell. Is this the start of the drinks company takeover. We've had enough bull over the years now we've got the red! :)

Transfer embargo lifted?
What's going on? It all seems to be good news at the moment! Maybe God is a Leeds fan.
I for one feel more positive today than I did after the last game of the season.
(since Cellino came back)

Yep it is good news week (wasn't that an old song by Neil diamond or someone? before my time to be fair).

MC is back and he appears to be like a mini Action Man (not before my time) and getting the foundations in place is important for any club and no mistake about that.

Of course everyone will be more interested in the manager/player side, which is understandable but in the short time he has been back, well done to MC I say especially if we hire that guy from Celtic as he should have a great network of Scottish, Northern UK and Northern Europe type players who should be better than too many soft Southern Europe types (that is a joke by the way), our club have been served well in the past by a mix of players rather than from just one league so hopefully that will be the case in the summer.

I am open on NR staying/going, if he goes just hopes MC gets someone good in but team also needs prob only 4-5 good first team match day squad players in, unlike last year, so on paper MC job in the summer should (!!) be a bit easier, unless we shoot ourselves in the foot again by making ill judged decisions, we will see but roll on summer

As I said in a previous post he is a clever man and will have seen what went wrong and so far has taken the right steps to put it right. He will probably be on garden leave next season at some point but club will be better managed this time. can't wait to see retained list and see what calibre of players we are looking to sign in summer. I think it is his intention for us to push for promotion next season and I am afraid that may mean a new head coach as it seems to be taking a while to decide on Redders. Whatever I will still be there next season as I think our worst days are behind us

I admire your optimism but with Cellino in charge we are never far from more controversy.

Agree0 Disagree0

13 May 2015 10:34:30
Used to controversy, not worried if Cellino gets banned again, he is not selling and if we get a good manager and Pearson here the club will run without him. Lot of owners are not in the country half the season. At least he is not selling and will be here for the long haul.

Agree0 Disagree0

13 May 2015 17:35:05
I would rather NR stayed but if he does go, I hope for once MC conducts himself in a respectful manner. There have been too many poorly managed exits since his arrival and it gives the media another reason to look down on our club.

I like look of the Swindon right back byrne. Wouldn't cost too much n pretty pacey n good at getting down flanks

Cook signs, Pearson signs, good news. Would this happen if they did not know who the bosses will be in the near future? Looks like he is staying but at least the club, will be in experienced hands when MC gets banned again (and again, and again. ) I hope now that Pearson is left alone to do his job and has the balls to tell MC to go away when he inevitabilly tries to interfere. We need to hear now that the other young kids have signed up long term and then finally. let's be told who our manager (and assistant) will be for next year. With just a few QUALITY additions the future is looking bright, white and rosy! MOT

Robbo would get his chance when Silvestri decides to go on strike again

Am I correct that Pearson was rumoured at one time to be interested in a takeover of Leeds. Maybe he will buy out the Arabs. I'm shocked that someone of his calibre has chosen to work with MC and can only speculate that this is his plan. Seems a great move for the club and hopefully it will get even better.

as I have said and will say again. people in lesser positions will not be put off by mc. people who will not work with leeds is because they already have bigger clubs and no other reason. Amrbomivc is meant to be a nightmare yet chealsea have no problems getting management staff or players, same with leeds just we are not as rich or big so have a different pulling power, but mc doesn't affect it.who would work for man city, or newcastle, or blackpool. answer people at lesser clubs its the way of football.no way of life

Agree0 Disagree0

12 May 2015 11:23:07
B White, I tend to agree with that post mate, people who are close to all the fuss (i.e. us fans) look at it and sometimes forget that a lower level manager/one out of work would see Leeds as a huge chance to make a name, the fact MC is a bit mad will not put them off. It is the big picture that counts for them.

As for players if you pay market rate they will not give a stuff about MC one way or other.

Lets hope we are now seeing a range of good news stories now for us.

bit unfootball related however getting married on saturday and we are wlaking out of the chruchto marching on together. This week got a callsaying we had to change it as the organist was refusing to play it as it was not suitable, went to vist him and saw millwall books and memrabilia around the house. After a row it is now backin the chruch service after I went mad and even the vicar said she liked the song and thought it was suitable. See even god loves leeds he is just trying us at the minute (at the very least he prefers us to wall) however did have to lose batty as a table as mother in law said it wasn't very correct for a wedding so subbed in bowyer. God may cave but he mother in law will not not. MOT

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - you are getting married? My best wishes go to your bride to be, she will need all God's help and more to cope! She is a very brave woman. And congratulations to you for being able to find one stupid, er I mean brave, enough to put up with you ;o). I hope you have a long and happy future together mate. You have enough trials and tribulations in your life supporting Leeds, hopefully family life will be there to help you through it.}

12 May 2015 09:14:37
cheers ed and you are right she is not tto birght and very strong woman, which I definatly need. She use to play up front for palace and QPR and was a millwall fan, now converted her to the light of leeds. Amazing what you can do when your handsome smart and funny. or the truth which is we have a little girl so she has little choice inthe matter

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - does she drink a lot? If she wasn't drunk when she started seeing you, she is surely drinking heavily now to cope......

She used to play up front for Palace and QPR and did support Millwall? Poor girl has obviously had no luck in life and then she ends up with you! Just thinking about how hard her life must be has reduced me to tears of sympathy for the poor lass.}

12 May 2015 14:12:52
And one night on the booze and bw takes advantage of her while she was unconscious no doubt. It's horrific for her!

actually she liked me for ages and wore me down got me drunk and took advantage of me in the venue which is a dive in new cross. I was quite the catch and subject to many suitors at the time (gone down hill faster than a fat person on rollerskates since mind)

For the first time this year it looks like we are heading in the correct direction. I like the Pearson move (I hope that this will mean Cellino will take a backward step). Cook signing is great, and if we get promoted next season will keep him with us. Now just to sort out the investigations and I hope we can March on Together to Premier league football. (Gotta think positive)

You may be right. But plenty more fish. as they say :)
And I'd just get sick of the trips to Landan

{Ed001's Note - probably sick on the trips as well. Going south is often sickening....}

12 May 2015 14:01:12
no speedy I know we are both fans of larry and often share opinions you know what they say about great minds. I am sorry I only said it to make you jelous and get a reaction as I am very insecure. and oi ed nothing wrong with Landan and good old bermondsey. ok maybe you might have a slight point

Interesting looking at Graysons win percentage and stats at Preston. Very good job being done there. Best they have had in recent history, including Moyes. Good luck top him. He deserved better treatment than he got at the end at Leeds.
