I keep saying, goodbye Warnock, now **** off, any one who calls themselves an experienced manager shouldn't take months to bed a team, to play players out of position and not get the best out of experienced players, we need to move on and look at next season, Nigel Atkins for me please, that is also without the cretin that is a has been. Neil Warnock!

Believable17 Unbelievable20

Thats a bit harsh!
Whats warnock done wrong?

Agree1 Disagree4

13 Mar 2013 08:21:49
when warnock first came I thought he should of been able to do better with the squad we already had at the club but he wanted the squad to adapt to his style of play.
since the end of last season warnock as had a hard time with the take over that never happened when it was supposed to which then messed up the summer transfer window.
the takeover also put a downer on the fans and the players.
finally the takeover happened late december and I think this is actually the point where warnock as to be rated from really
W - 5
D - 5
L - 5

no your right warnock out he's frigging pants

That's the end of season. sure there's big optimists on here.
One win in 5 is simply not good enough for top 6. Yes we have played a couple of good sides but only beat mill wall.
Overall the season has been a pathetic non event with a takeover which has made us no better on team front.
Everyone says the same thing inc Eddie gray now, we lack quality, warnock knew we lacked quality, every fan did but gfh did nothing to get it. they scoffed at 750k for Burke, 650k for Fraser Campbell. quality available but we didn't bother,
Got what club deserved but not us fans. shrew leeds

Believable32 Unbelievable1

No vision. Gfh either lack funds. a vision and plan for success or belief in leeds. Or all three. Those two players may have made a huge difference but they expect us to care more about their bank balance than building a team for the future. A poultry 1.5 mill. But oh no. let's waste money on the has beens warnock has been chasing for years.
Its a shame that a great fan base has had to lut up with dodgy owners and managers for a decade.

Agree3 Disagree0

It's not just one win out of five, its that we are in what's being called 'good form' with only one win out of five, which tells you we have no chance of playoffs

Agree3 Disagree0

Last nights performance just about summed the season up, plenty of huffing and puffing but no quality players to finish teams off. we've played the whole season with no width or pace up front, and are probably the most predictable team in the league to play against. I really hope we have a younger manager with an attacking outlook for next season.

Agree4 Disagree0

Leicester 1 win in last 9 games

Agree1 Disagree1

Proves what I've thought all along. GFH are not in this for themselves. They aren't trying to be the driving force behind a successful football club, they are just caretaker owners waiting for someone to take a chunk off their hands for a profit. They won't invest because they aren't interested in long term success and anything they spend will come out of their eventual profits.

1-1 with 24,000 attendance. Result did us no favours and once this discounted ticketing closes I get the feeling that many will write this season off and not attend with nothing to play for. Pity cus we all had high hopes at the beginning of the season and got duped in the Jan transfer window.

Too many fans were writing Peterborough off expecting us to win by 2 or 3 goals some even saying 5 .

Agree0 Disagree0

Im a Leeds fan and ST holder but am under no disillusions that we are the best fans in the world. Says it all that just because Play offs are looking impossible now we should just stop going and supporting our team.

In all my years as a Leeds fan this has been the most embarrassing, and not just due to performance. It's due to the horrible atmosphere at ER and the people 'boycotting till the takeover was done' I didn't notice them coming back tbh?

Im Leeds but i'm not proud the majority of our fans. Away days are the best now cause get more loyal fans who support the team no matter what.

Agree0 Disagree0

"people 'boycotting till the takeover was done' I didn't notice them coming back tbh?"

Er, try the 'boycotting till Bates has gone' approach.

you'll notice us coming back when that happens!

couldn't have asked for better results from the other matches. we just couldn't deliver. opportunity missed I feel.

Not to worry lads. keep plugging away, all is not lost.

Let me guess what Warnock will say. I simply can't believe we haven't won/ we were by far the best side ( as good as Barca)/ I can't run on and score myself/ if I had this team from the beginning of the season we would have got promoted/ they're a great bunch, not a bad apple among them/ I have worked miracles/ how we are not 12 points better off I'll never know/ Steve Morison will be a legend, let's build a statue.

As opposed to the reality-

We haven't scored in the first half for 13 leage games/ it was an end to end game against a bottom 3 club, we could have won but so could they/ we have no curedge- he sold Becchio and bought a diff type of striker and didn't add a supplementary striker, at least not one he trusts/ we didn't improve the squad overall in Jan/ we don't seem to have the cash/ we generally don't offer enough pace or cohesion- we hoof the ball/ there have been some strange tactical decisions, selections over the courses of the season. We are, in reality a middling Championship team.

Believable20 Unbelievable1

I agree 100%
It is a fact most managers see their team of deserving at least a draw when they lose and being robbed when they draw. However, rarely does a result not tell the truth.
I didn't see last nights game. I was prob snoring. Did we play football or hoof?
It is so disappointing to see signs of optimism for a few weeks only to realise we are not consistent enough. We seem to try harder and play better against top end clubs then expect to beat the lower end and not be ready for a tough game. Is this a management issue, I wonder?

Looks like you forgot to add "it's like a rollercoastert" then?

I see Billy Davies has given tv Late Kick Off Midlands unprecedented access all areas behind the scenes. I wonder if this would work for us? Might win over a few doubters and would be a really good PR exercise I would have thought.

10 games left till the end of season and 10 games left to see what we have merited over the past season.
so far it has been a pretty average season, with the last 5 matches unbeaten. this has kept everyone thinking can we?, can leeds make the playoffs?.
our next 10 games or final 10 depends how you look at it.

peterborough (h)

30pts up for grabs
i am predicting (just a prediction) leeds can grab 21 of the 30 pts remaining this season, weather its enough for a play off push you can't help but wonder, and I know fans of other clubs and the teams around leeds are thinking the same they know what leeds are about with the fans backing the team they also know that NW has been through this before and isn't a stranger to all the hype, weather he goes or stays in the summer is not on the agenda the agenda is leeds united.

i am one fanatic that still believes in the club and doesn't really care what others make of it, if i'm shooting for the stars in high hope in believing in my team then so be it atleast I can call myself a true fan, hope there are many more like me out there
please take advantage of watch leeds for less starting tonight against the posh,
3-0 prediction for me morison mccormack and green to score. clean sheet needed as well.

all you fans stop your moaning and support YOUR CLUB!

I will never lose my belief in Leeds but years of disappointment does make you more realistic. I hope we extend our season but results tell me we will just miss out because we are not quite good enough. Tonight was a must win and we didn't! we do still have a chance but every game we don't win now just makes it that much harder.

Agree6 Disagree0

Non of your predictions were even slightly true, maybe you should listen to those moaners as they seem to know more than you, funny that as according to you they are not true fans.

Well two more of your points dropped tonight.

I think nw should be given a years extention to his contract regardless of where we end up at the end of the season. I think we have a solid 5 at the back now 6 games unbeaten, I know we need some fast wingers and maybe another st but look where we are in the league, with are current games to go I think we could sneak 6th spot. Maybe 5th if the above teams snuff up. Nw can then spend big in the summer on the team HE has built and hopefully we will be in with the big guns. Leeds lad MOT

12 Mar 2013 12:53:56
Hey, don't know what everyone else thinks, but I think its still possible that we can get the play offs.

I know people think this we shouldn't be happy with just the playoffs, but I for one would be if it led to us getting promoted

I know the last few games we've dropped points, but before the game I would have been happy with a point (leicester/palace).

Looking at the fixtures we've got and the teams around us playing each other, I think we need about 19/20 points from the last 30 available.

If we win all the home games and maybe get something from some of the away games (draws etc) we could still do it.

I know this is easier said that done and I always find as we start to get close to the playoffs we then lose the games we should win after playing well in previous games. But fingers crossed

Either way, let's get behind the team!

With the fixtures we have left to play and the way we are performing I would be disappointed if we don't come out with over 75 points.

Op here, yea its possible. As there's charlton and ipswich away. Jus worry as we sometimes struggle wit teams at bottom end of table

nigel adkins will have a choice of two championship teams at the end of the season. reading (who will be relegated ) and us. he will go for the club who have the resources to back him in the transfer market. never mind there's always ian dowie. were a joke of a club let's face it.

Believable2 Unbelievable20

I don't know what club you support but I am a leeds United supporter and I am proud of that and I do not call Leeds United a joke!

Agree15 Disagree1

Call yourself a whites fan, get a grip, its better now than when pappa smurf was in charge.

Agree9 Disagree2

Original poster here. People that have disagreed, can you explain why? The reading owner is a multi millionaire fact. GFH have'nt got a pot to **** in. fact.

Agree2 Disagree14

How do you know gfh haven't a pot to piss in and how can you state it as fact! let's have faith in what we have now and do our best to support warnock and the team through til the end.

Agree8 Disagree2

And how do you know GFH haven't got a pot to piss in? Do you work for them? Are you their accountant? It's mindless drivel. You feel the need to try and put everyone on a downer. The club are on a good run. Play offs are still achievable. And Warnock has been backed financially. Not just in transfer fees but increase in player wages. We haven't spent silly money but do we want to end up like Leicester and declare £30m losses for the last season?

Agree10 Disagree1

When you call the club a joke it seems to relate everything, team, players, supporters included, have your opinion, but to true Leeds fans calling our club a joke is an insult, whatever is going on behind the scenes we still love our club.

Agree5 Disagree2

We don't need supporters like you at are club if you want to carry on moaning then stay away from the ground all your doing is bringing negativity to are great club and its not helping one bit.

Agree1 Disagree1

Original poster again. Message for sam who's probably sat at home listening to the radio instead of paying his £20 and backing up his ridiculous post. Warnock has'nt been backed with gfh 's money. All they have spent is incoming transfers and cup run money. They couldn't even afford to buy burke who's contract is up at the end of the season. Come on leeds fans get your head out of the sand and face reality. Mid table with 19, ooo home gates. I am a season ticket holder and a massive supporter. But i'm afraid to say we are not a big club anymore.

Agree1 Disagree1

To original poster no pal I'm not sat at home I've been sat in the east stand all night in the same seat I've had with my dad since I was 5yrs old. And as far as the rest of your post goes the view of the other season ticket holders around us are the same as as the views on this thread that you're talking rubbish. As for the funding it has been stated several times that it was GFH that injected working Capitol into the squad in the summer to buy kenny pelts Pearce and a few of the others. The deal for snoddy was £1.5m up front and the rest based on apps. Either way pal you're talking b*******
