If Billy Sharps proposed move to Leeds goes through I would have no hesitation playing him up front with Doukara, both very mobile should compliment each other quite well. And if fit, bring in at least one of the new centre backs and leave wootton on the bench. I just hope Byram stays around now, things could finally be looking up.

Poleon on bench tonight so presumably contract not terminated yet. My view is he could be a good player, send him out on loan for a year somewhere he'll get plenty of games then worst case scenario he's not good enough for us but we can get some money for him.

He's already been out on loan and proved his worth, he needs sticking in the team for a few games and given a chance, rather than given bit parts.

. if he can't cut it fine, but I wish people would stop writing him off and criticising him before he's given that chance.

It is that easy, unfortunately Hockaday obviously isn't a student of the 'bleeding obvious' nor studied 'common sense' at school.

Sincere apologies Poleon has (yet again) been given 12 minutes to excel himself.

Why do you bother Hockaday?

Either give him a whole game or let the lad go somewhere he will be wanted?

What is about Poleon that gets you going because I can't see it. I agree about giving young talented players a chance but sorry to say the lad has little football talent apart from being quick. I don't get any pleasure from slating the boy but I've seen him play and he is now where near championship standard and never will be. And all the talk about him developing is just that. Talk. A poor player cannot be coached to become a good one. Whereas a good player can be coached to become a very good player. Maybe i'm wrong, but tell me his good qualities apart from pace? I will be interested by your answer.

Sorry Leeds4alongtime I forgot to say that Poleon has been out on loan twice in lower divisions and didn't set the world alight. Sheff Utd and I think Bury and scored maybe once as far as I remember, although it was a great goal. Its easy for you to say play the lad and he deserves his chance and Hockaday and McDermott and Warnock havnt got a clue. But these guys work and have worked with him on the training pitch and i'm pretty sure if he was good enough he would of started more games by now. Maybe you no more than the rest of us. MOT.

Send the lad out on loan till xmas see what he does we may need him for back up still think he can become a decent player.

I`m guessing Hunt must run rings around everyone in training and score everytime he touches the ball, cause he gets loads of game time.
Personally I would gauge things the other way round. If you can do it on the pitch in a competitive match then that's more relative than a good training session.

Good to see Charlie Taylor and Cook in the team. I thought Benedicic would have started but put Belusci in for Wootton and a replacement for Tongue and I would be quite happy with that based on current squad.

Hoping for a positive result tonight, but it's saturday that count's. get in there Leeds!

Hockaday not rallying the troops on LUFC website for Acc Stan game. Does'nt say a lot for his enthusiasm.Gone to ground or out the door already???

Does he need to rally us on the website, surely that is for the changing room & the players, a good performance will lift the fans.

What difference does that make wether you know them or not?, so long as their up to the job, we've nowhere near finished recruiting yet so why not wait until all the new signings are made, give them time to settle then see how we perform, were in a better position now than we have been for years, so let's get behind, Cellino, Hockaday and the lads and MOT.

It has been one Game.

Hockaday is an excellent coach as is here to develop and improve the players

Look at the Dundee United game look at what he is capable of

He is Devout and Hard working and wants us to achieve

He has coaching experience in the Championship

There will be no more hoofball

I agree Speedo. I honestly don't know why so many people have us relegated after one game! Yes, I believe we were poor against Millwall but you tell me a team that won't play poor in at least one game this season and I'll tell you who will win the league. I posted previously about Crystal Palace in 12/13 season. lost their first three games and still got promoted. I'd dread to see the reaction on here if we lost our first three!
I believe we will soon start going in the right direction and will add to our squad before transfer deadline. We will be stronger than last season and not relegated.

We'll never be happy Mick. I agree we won't get relegated and I think we'll finish mid table, but hopefully push on next season and get near the top 6. I think the running of the club his MC'S priority this season. Hopefully pick up a couple of gems who may make us a harder team to beat. It's not ideal, as a season ticket holder I pay my money to be entertained and there hasn't been much of that over the past 4 seasons. Here's to the next 4 being successful.

Yeah you're right JT but at least we have a chairman willing to invest and not bleed us dry. I believe Cellino's agenda isn't purely to use LUFC as a cash cow as with previous administrations and genuinely think this guy is a breath of fresh air when you consider Bates and GFH and is too proud to f**k this one up. It will be a bumpy ride but we'll get there. MOT!

I totally agree that Cellino has Leeds United's interest at heart and it's a breath of fresh air after all the MGB's (that's money grabbing ba**ards to you non 'contractor' types). (Ps I am a contractor, no insult meant!)

However, given Cellino's record for hiring and firing coaches, you do have to wonder when he is going to find one he 'likes' enough to employ for any length of time?

I certainly don't think Hockaway is the 'chosen one'.

Poleon set for the off but come on Leeds who would want to play under hock the co. No one in the right mind Leeds are becoming a joke and I think they will lose a lot of support if they don't sort it out # MOT

Great game for Berardi, Benedicic and Bianchi tonight. Will give them a good 90 minutes to settle into a home game before Saturday.

He doesn't know what his best 11 is so how can he say he's resting them. ridiculous. sooner we get rid of him the better for all, we should have snapped Glen Hoddle up.
