Looks like Leicester might have fiddled the books to cover against ffp rules wondering what the big wigs will do about this if anything.

{Ed003's Note - the 'big wigs' have been looking into this for a while and I'm sure they will act wex.have a quick look on the leicester page.}

The media don't seem to want to taint the fairytale yet Massimo can't scratch his arse.

As its the football league they can't give any direct punishement to Leicester as they are in the Premiership, same as QPR. If I'm right it can only be a defered punishment till next time they are in the Championship and so will probably be a fine.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - different situations. What happened with QPR is completely irrelevant.}

Not overly inspired for the team for tonight, much the same as usual. Will be interesting to see it Wood and Ant can perform together though. let's hope they do and the goals come tonight.

Given the difference everyone thinks the 3 players mentioned (Foriesteiri, Limbombe and Joey Barton) would make. This gives me optimism and shows we are not that far away . Recruit 3 players of this quality a couple of decent centre backs and some up and coming wingers and we would be a whole lot better. Should not cost the earth . Clearing out the 8 or 10 deadwood should create enough savings to go some way towards the recruitment costs. let's really hope for a decent transfer window this summer as a sign of intent. Cellino appears to be staying not going anywhere . I know the tribunal is on this week . He does appear to be trying to keep low?

Not everyone PA :)
Plus, factor in 2/ 3 or 4 of the young ones leaving in the summer or January
I'll eat my own leg if Lewis Cook is still with us this time next year.

Speedy
If he ain't going to be with us, you may as well eat his leg.
Anyhow do you think self-cannibalism is a leg-itimate response from you?

are midfield although not the weakest would have benefitted from Barton who has been class all season from what I heard .
Should have signed him with coaching / badge role.
We should loo0k the raid a few players going down Wheater and Clough from Bolton are two players that I believe are worth a go.
Although an excellent shot stopper dealing with crossers and set plays has cost us so a Gk, I say about Bently from Southend but have not heard anything since .

If Speedy eats his own leg he will become a leg-end in his own lunchtime. I would suggest some leggy leggy sauce for flavour and a few spicy wings before to limb-er up. He would Knee-d to be toe-tally committed not just mess-shin about though.

Don't often post on here but was thinking today how upset would Chris Wood be right now looking at the position that Leicester currently occupy, now I am not suggesting that he would have featured heavily especially considering when it comes to picking his team Ranieri is as predictable as an Aussie Summer (It will be hot) but it is not out of the realms of possibility that Wood could have scraped together 5 subs appearances. Its the sort of thing that could keep a fella up at night or at least have him daydreaming when glorious opportunities come his way in the 6 yard box. Food for thought.

Vardy and Wood could have been like Sutton and shearer.

I have problem with him. I very like him and think that he is a good striker, look how many "100%" situation he has during a match, his positioning is vary good he finds opportunities but has problem with using them it is problem with his mind, he is still young, probably never played on stadium with such intense atmosphere were support has expectations bigger than people running the club and players playing for it. This players are accustomed for playing in lower divisions and are not enough mentally strong to play for a club whose supporters have premier league and winning mentality (at least most of them) . This is a big problem for him and many other players and this is for my one of the many reasons why we are in such plight. It is a curse of Leeds United, of the club in fall undermined by poor management and its former glory.

As our season is coming to a conclusion with our customary low league position . I was daydreaming of what might have been . I've been reading various post about needing to spend various millions to make a play off push next season . What I was thinking was if we had invested in a few of the players we were rumoured to have been interested in ie Foriesteiri, Limbombe and Joey Barton, even on his alleged high wages, what position we would be in.

I'm not sure how much they would of cost in total, but I can't help thinking with that bit of aggression and guile we would have been in a far better position, that's just my opinion, what are your thoughts on that fellow posters?

Would have had us close and at not a massive cost . I'd say perhaps 20 points more . Forristieri has virtually carried the wendys .

Should we expect to be in PL, expect better than the crap the last few years have served up. We have lived and enjoyed the successes of the Revie, Sgt Wilko's, and early 2000s, I think because of these past successes there is an expectation for more, especially when success has come around 3 times. We are Leeds United, not some mediocre club who have yet to experience glory, our owners should remember our history and achievements because this expectation of further successes is what they should strive to bring back to Leeds United.

sorry but I disagree, past glorys count for nothing, the only history that affects this club is the one in the bank account. winning makes no difference to anything however being brought to our knees by risdale and then having a good team and manager pulled to bits and milked by bates are two things which do affect the current situation. A lesser team with lesser support would not of recovered (look at wigan, blackpool, sheff utd and porstmouth all prem teams long after after us yet doing worse) .

our owners need to look at balance sheets, our fans need to be realistic and know that considering how bad things are being mediocore in championship is probably a good result and doing well, if you disagree talk to the fans of the clubs I just mentioned they would love to be in our postion and we were in worse place than them and they had glory more recently than us

best thing leeds fans can do is look fondly on the past good times but realise we may never recover from our recently history and revie wilko and champs league counts for nothing other than fond memories and a good watch on DVD.

was at the game when yeboha scored the goal against wimbledon I could not believe what I saw little was I to know this was just the beggining with class acts like rickets, lilly, sowomni and joachim to follow the great african through our doors

wilko brought him after looking at a tape, if SE is reading this look up lady andrea online she is amazing and think female players go cheap so might be worth a shot on right wing?
