Evening guys, Reading between the lines, maybe massimo is looking to take a back seat at ER (minority share) to allow him to purchase Bressio in Italy, would still allow him to keep his finger in the pie of LUFC too, what's everyones thoughts on this! I think it could suit both him and appease the fans, I suppose it depends on whether this new guy is what we need to take us forward from what I hear he is the frontman for a multi billionaire Chinese consortium, or could it be a case of better the devil you know! answers on a postcard. ๐.

It's always a bit worrying when any takeover is in the offing. Yes, some and have had enough of MC and are desperate for change but we've been here before and master Bates and GFH were absolute nightmares that I would hate to repeat and cost us many millions and years outside the top flight. Many clubs have now been here and takeovers have proved disastrous. We now know a bit more about MC and although he isn't spending billions or even our spending what we earn at least we are making steady progress. I welcome his quieter chairmanship recently as well and haven't got too many complaints this year so may be a shame if he is going when things are going well. On the other hand maybe things are going well because he has taken more of a back seat and this might all be down to a proposed takeover. I think he will still be involved if this goes through and hopefully if this new guy is smart and realistic we can keep pushing on. The last thing I want is another Bates or someone like the Venkys.

I think MC has had his faults but he has sorted us out financially (would've been even better without the court cases๐) . I think he really wanted to be loved here and wanted to see Leeds back on top. Had some of the 'fans' actually bothered to think about their actions and understand that it takes money - a lot of money- to run a football club then he would not have felt alienated and perhaps might have invested more and perhaps we would see a little more of him Enjoying our current success and positive vibe. Yes he has made mistakes and yes he had a real issue adapting to the British game but I think he has finally got it and I for one will be sad to see him go, if he goes. He is a real character with real passion and whilst he has been than a little misguided at times, we still have a club and that's thanks to him. Let's face it - no one is perfect and sometimes you need to lose a few battles to win a war๐ And, by george, we seem to be winning๐๐ป bring on the toon - MOT.
