Use our rumours form to send us leeds transfer rumours.

Keep the faith. We are LEEDS UNITED but some starters have to go. Austin. 2 new wingers. Lees I used to think was great bur WTF. Pearce a revalation this season. Our whole midfield is totaly ****ed apart from M urphy.

Murphy has been bloody awful. We have one of the lowest possession stats in the league and one of the lowest at passing accuracy . Murphy is behind a lot of that. Get rid of the lot, perhaps keep Austin and Murphy as squad players. Mowatt needs to be used as a squad player too

Agree0 Disagree0

Luke Murphy is a good player and has a lot of potential. He has the qualities of a solid MF, he can pass, he can hold up the ball and bring others into the game, and he can break up opposition play.

Why doesn't he do this? because the style of football, tactics we play are not consistent with football we would like. We have become a team of hoofers, kick and chase. The ball bypasses our midfield,

I would keep Butland, Byram, Pearce, Zalukas (hope he's learned his lesson) Murphy, Ross, Wickham, and Smith.

McD needs to go back to basics, ball to feet, pass and move, possession football. If you don't have the ball you can't win.

Agree0 Disagree0

In league one perhaps but we've dominated just two games this season, all the rest we were torn apart. Murphy just hasn't cut it. Just one goal and that was a blatant hand ball. Don't mind if we'd payed a few hundred K for him, but we payed a million!

Good evening Ladies, Gentlemen and Doggers hope you are all well - as mentioned a while back we are hoping to get all the sites where the posters register (It only takes a minute) It has been a huge success on other sites for getting rid of trolls/trouble causers so if you could register(simple log in name and password ) that would be great.

Cheers guys

Has this become a dogging site?

I'm starting to think McD's not good enough to turn this around. I backed him after the Rochdale and Wendy shambles, I backed him after he continued picking favourites and ignoring form, I backed him when he was sacked, but I can't defend him anymore. It's infuriating knowing that tomorrow we'll see pretty much the exact same line up and then hear the exact same excuses after the game. Fed up of hoofing the ball every game, no one else does it except us, it's embarrassing. We've got one of the most skillful players in this league, McCormack, play it to his feet. He's simply not ruthless enough to be a football manager, it's why Reading gave him the boot, which I thought was very harsh at the time. Give the kids a chance for God's sake. Mowatt, Dawson, Walters, Taylor, Ariyibi etc. at least they'll give 100% for the shirt.

We need a massive summer clear out: Austin, Peltier, Lees, White, Hunt, Brown, Stewart, Tonge, Warnock just not good enough and on big wages too.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Again folk talking pie in the sky. Ariyibi, Walters, Taylor and Dawson not in squad. they not good enough yet. Why do people think young players are always the answer? We need more experince not kids at this moment in time. If Dawson could make a difference he would be playing and that's a fact. We need leaders cause apart from Ross and Pearce we ain't got any. Just wish Brown was 10 years younger!

By that measure cork white you must think byram is not good enough for a game?

i was at the game and as bad as our performance was I believe it should have been a different scoreline. from the highlights I have just watched I also think that 2 of their goals were offside and mark davies scored with his hand. I know it makes no difference now but just wanted to say we were also hard done by sub par officials.

Sorry Alf I read your comment incorrectly as he did say he was no longer employed by GFH.
Sounds a bit like something to do with fit and proper to me.

No worries Jeff. Where can we see your photos? Hope your meeting went well.

I was in a meeting today with David Haigh at Elland Road.
The meeting didn't finish till 2.45pm.
I've seen some rubbish posted by someone called Alf Tupper stating that David resigned before my meeting began.
I want to say that after meeting him my opinion of him and GFH has totally changed for the better.
I know the team have let everyone down not least BMD with far too many awful displays but please don't think for a minute the board don't care as they do with a passion and remember how much has already been invested in our great club.
This season may have disappointed everyone but we will get there very soon.
By the way I took some great pics of the stadium from the Harewood Suite if anyone wants to see them.
Jeff

Glad you feel confident Jeff. News around the block says we are heading for administration if Mr Cellino fails with the takeover. apparently he's not funding the club anymore either.

Eds, to your knowledge has anyone ever actually failed the FL owners and directors test?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed003's Note - had to ask about for this one sorry for the delay but thanks to Ed 002 we got stephen vaughan(chester) antonov and craig whyte as ones who failed it.}

This is for ED. SORRY AGAIN FOR TRANSLATION.
BUT FRIDAY IS D DAY. No mistake. An Italian website makes the point about the future of Massimo Cellino and Leeds. The number one time of Cagliari has already made a transaction of approximately 20 million, in the form of a loan, to pay off debts of the United. Then there was a surety, writes the site, a London bank for 19 million Euros for the purchase of Elland Road. And this is an important week for the decision of the English FA, which will arrive between Thursday and Friday. MOT

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Wont be a any announcment before the 18th march, when cellino's court case takes place. Friday will come and go without any news, FACT

I'm sure I am not the only one who wants bmac to succeed, however it's a results games & if the team doesn't start picking up these then it's bye bye bmac. He has had some money to spend on loan players so no excuse there. Also it infuriates me to hear that players have no confidence in playing at ER, well when he was scouting did he not take this into consideration. I'm referring to the likes of stewart & kebe who apparently are nervous at playing at ER. I mean wtf! It's like we are stuck in a timewarp of same old same old. Again we find ourselves overloaded with players that aren't good enough not even to shift to other clubs and again another wasted year goes by. Sort it out Leeds!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Also his lack of ruthlessness. He rarely makes any changes to the team, despite constant poor performances. Austin, Kebe, Stewart, Lees, Peltier ect should have been dropped weeks ago.

There are talks on other sites for a protest tomorrow night, go down but not go in!, how does that work?.Ive bought my season tickets to watch a team I love and always will, not to pay then stand outside, they already have my dosh so me not going in is utter stupidity, its time people grew up and stop spouting bull poo. Also for the circus clowns who jeered a player off is not acceptable in my eyes, so I suggest if your going to jeer players tomorrow night please stay away and gob off at the radio.
End of rant.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I agree we are supporters through thick and thin. I can understand the frustration but jeering our player is not on. It's not what being a Leeds fan stands for. Well said mark

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm sorry but I don't, as a paying supporter I have the right to vent my anger at a player or the team, I carnt go into the changing rooms to shout at them so on the pitch is the only way, they might just get the message then.
If I had a bad day at work the my customers would shout at me, the only difference is that I wouldn't get payed but they would.
Obviously the player in question is kebe who should even be wearing a football shirt never mind a Leeds one, but to be fair after Saturdays performance not many of the players should be either!

Agree0 Disagree0

I support my team, always have done and always will do. BUT they have a duty to pay me back for my support with some effort and a will to win. There seemed none of that on Saturday. I expect the team I support to give of its best at all times, even if they are not the best players. Saturday's team deserved to be derided by the fans.

Agree0 Disagree0

Change the record. We understand that you don't like Kebe. Do you think that booing him will make him play better then? No. Get off his back and maybe he will improve

Agree0 Disagree0

Support the team support the manager and hopefully support the new owner. We have waited a long time for someone to take us over he knows what he wants and will do the best for the club for once we have someone with the money and a plan. If BMD does not impress him before the end of the season he will be gone its like that in any takeover in the real world or the football world. Its not the time for protests well maybe if the football league turn him down but even they can't be that stupid

Says in the paper that Matthew ettherington wants to quick stoke surely he's a better bet than kebe and Stewart. Knows how to beat a man and cross. Apparently that's what wingers are for.
