Reading thru reddders bit bout Phillips playing again sat
He does seem to know the youngsters and their potential and limitations. He sees how Phillips etc will grow over a few games not just one. He really needs to be at the academy.

Bradley Johnson got 14 goals this season. New he had goals in him but 14! Peter Beagrie described him as the complete midfielder for Norwich. Its amazing how many, on this site, said he was one of the worst players to pull on a Leeds shirt. He always had a cracking shot on him!

Could not agree more. Said at time it was short-sighted to let him go and even though I am biased feel he scored the greatest goal in fa cup history.

Add to that the 7 Howson has got, shows some decent pedigree in how Leeds develope midfielders.
Mowatt is on 9 or so, that those are mainly from this year. Imagine if we had had a more consistent approach from the beginning of the season.
