I was there in 1973 and thought it was the worst day of my life. Supporting my club since has been magnificent, joyous, frustrating, disappointing, good, carp, great etc.

I was there too and it was worse than losing to Bayern.
Totally agree it was the worst day of my life.
Just a little funny but I bought my home from a Sunderland supporter and the burglar alarm was 1973.
We were burgled alright.
Monte played the game of his life and just our luck.

Yep cried my eyes out that day when the FA Cup was massive, people talk about Banks's save from pele but for me Montgomery's was better.

Far too young for all these memories, I was there when we got turned over in league cup final by villa and I am there every season when we get beat at the den, and also saw us lose at Er to huddlesfeild a couple of seasons back. not quite as important but still P'''sed me off :)

Every defeat pisses me off, millwall play off 2nd leg was very bitter for me.

The 1973 final was seriously offensive. The worst bit was every neutral in the country drooling and drivelling over the S word team .

Yes millwall 2nd leg defeat in playoffs was killer I had five millwall mates round and my uncle. decorated the living room in leeds kits, had mot playing and then we got knocked out. Got very very drunk that night
