Boring, if you remember rmc was a nobody til becchio was sold, becchio was a nobody til beckford left, if i'm not wrong matt smith scored 12 times last season pretty much from the bench, we don't need to pay 28 million for lukaku to replace rmc, we breed strikers.

I would have said that MC is just about as close as you could get to the complete opposite of Bates. I know who I'd rather have. And I do wish people would stop going on as if Ross was some sort of god. He was an OK player is a sh** team. Sure, his goals kept us up, and I'm grateful for that of course - but I have every confidence that come September we will have players more than capable of scoring plenty of goals

Oh and while we're having a rant. Let's not get too shocked if MC sells some others for decent prices. I will be sad, but not amazed if Sam or Matt Smith go for example

Won't be long before some of you are petitioning for a statue of him outside the ground ;). Personally, I like MC so far and I'm willing to give him this season to finish the first phase of an enormous job, but I'll reserve "god" status until next year.

I too still don't see the marquee front men and enough rocks in thee back div.

11 mega quid I the bank. a few mega quid laid out.

Upside is MC won't spend for the sake of it on just anything.

Downside. we're not yet prem play off qualifying class.
