Probably for the best overall but smacks of lack of planning. You buy these players then you sack the manager. If he was that close he should have gone earlier or later after a chance to do something. Now it's the worst of the options. The new chap will have his work cut out.

Absolutely agree Hess, especially if we end up with a manager with zero prem experience, which honestly I can see happening, that would be the season over.
