Bub is BRILLIANT. He IS Leeds. By the condescending way he put the EFL in their place you would have thought he was born and raised in the city or at least read every football article written about the place. Then again, knowing him, he probably has. His level of analysis makes Revie's player dossiers look like match day programs. This is why we are going up and are going to stay up.

Kiwi I have to disagree, Radz having told him to cool it he comes out saying he’s done it all season, now EFL have come out saying that Leeds May have breached their charter to which all clubs agreed to last season, leaving Leeds to the possibility of a bigger sanction, I don’t know it Radz has is hands in his head or the EFL rubbing theirs together, Brilliant is not something I would agree with.

{Ed001's Note - the EFL had already said that nonsense about it breaching their charter, long before he gave the conference. That was days ago they made that claim when they couldn't actually find a rule that covered it.}

Ed100, Let’s see before handing them anything, That’s all I am saying. If they can find anything they will, drove past and the midnight candle were burning.

{Ed001's Note - and they will do that regardless of what Leeds do, so give it to them both barrels and show them up, which is exactly what Bielsa has done. He has turned it into a coaching masterclass and made Lampard look a fool.}

Whiteman as always I respect your opinion but the point here is that Bub is showing the passion and character which will lift the team and the club. He will have the dressing room well and truly with him and that will come through on the paddock. The thoroughness and depth of his analysis render the possible transgression of spying (in reality it was only watching) to be a minor bit part. If the EFL want to outlaw it they can do so but may find themselves hard put to dish out any meaningful punishment. It wasn't illegal. It's been done before by others. It's not contrary to any of their own set laws. Now he has shown it provided little that contributed to the result.

Also, do you really think that Radz wouldn't have known what was coming? get real, Bub's shown exactly why it doesn't matter if he sends anyone to watch a training session because he already knows everything he wants to know.

I can see where you are coming from Whiteman. I think that was very much Bielsas way. Didn’t seem to be any notice of the press conference on the official site and I don’t know if there as been anything since.

Although he did talk before about recognising the differences here, he didn’t apologise as far as I could see. Also he didn’t make it absolutely clear he wouldn’t do it again, although he sort of implied it the other day. He made quite a terse passing reference to the clubs statement on him as well. However he did seem to say he would accept the punishment. Correct me guys if any of those assumptions are wrong!

I hope now, that’s the end of it until the league / FA decision and we get back to football only.

I think he has though made it tough for the authorities to handle it, he’s given them more ammunition but they will run the risk of making him even more of a hero than he is already and could give the team even more motivation and desire to perform!

How many players will want to play for Leeds under Bielsa now? Surely they will be jumping at the chance.

Let’s face it, Bielsa just gave English football, from grass roots to the very top of the game, a proper schooling! He said that watching training wasn’t of any benefit, but if he didn’t ask for it to be done, he wouldn’t feel that he was doing his job properly, and would be worried about that. He wants perfection in his preparation, and to be the best coach possible. The only thing the authorities can do now, is introduce new rules, so that it’s clear for everyone.

Don't be daft, it was an official press conference, albeit, a bit of a short notice one. Everyone at the club would have known what it was about.
