I'm definitely in the 'get behind Heck' campaign. Every bright young up and coming manager was a nobody at some point. I mentioned the great job Danny Cowley was doing at my local club Lincoln City last year before their amazing FA Cup run and promotion. They are now sitting pretty just outside the pay-offs in League Two with a great chance of a double promotion and they're going to Wembley in the Checkatrade. Cowley is now being touted for the Barnsley job and he's only one successful move away from maybe a Premier League job (if he does well) . A fantastic achievement considering he was a PE teacher only two years ago! Heck lead Barnsley to an amicable 14th last season after promotion and has had his side stripped of their decent players this season. I don't think it's fair to judge him on this season and he will hopefully turn out to be a master stoke appointment by Radz.

{Ed001's Note - surely Cowley was who you should have gone for?}

Seriously, I don't think he would have been a bad choice Ed. It would take a brave chairman to appoint a completely unknown but I reckon he'll have a top job sooner or later. MM

Cowley would've been a smart choice. He will manage in the PL.
