Great top for a few hours, job done and dusted then!.
anybody else think, whilst i believe bmd and gfh are building for the future and going the right way about it. if we were to get promoted to the so called ' promised land', we would be straight back down. we are not in a position to compete with the top five in the premiership, there is a massive gap in quality beween the championship and premiership. hopefully the way we are building we will go up in anothers years time with further investment so that we can build again. tewy

That's when the owners (who ever they may be at the time) have to pump the big bucks in. £3 or £4m in the Championship. £30 to £40m in the premier league. Leeds would attract the top players for sure, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. Always remember 60% of the sides in the Prem just survive & there's 4 leagues into one. Leeds will survive & rebuild into a top 6 side within 3 years!

Reply to second post, let's just lose then so some leeds fans can carry on moaning and blaming bates, warnock and the main culprit tom lees FFS .lets go top if only for a while and keep the feel good factor rolling on

£30 to £40million is chicken feed compared with the income. £120m at minimum for the side that finishes bottom that's purely TV revenue. Gates will be up, cup run money not included in above. I agree we would almost need a new team but the cash will be there. JD

If clubs really do get all that money, where does it go? they seem to have more from parachute payments than promotion.

QPR finished bottom and from TV deals including overseas they got £39m so idk where this £120m is coming from.

39m last season. 120 mil over 3 years outside top flight I think
