Patrick Bamford injured with cruciate knee ligament out for 4 months. Won't play again until early next year. Chance for Roberts and Clarke in my opinion.

all of our most expensive players seem to go out injured for months. is this some sort of conspiracy?

Although it's tough on the lad, unless Roofe hits some horrible form I don't think we'll miss him. Also maybe a chance for Roberts and/ or Clarke to step up.

True about Roberts and Clarke, maybe edmondson too, but do feel for Bamford.

How about Dallas for the centre forward role. He seems to be ear marked for every other position

He could our version of Cesc Fabregas, a false number 9.

Shame but hopefully back for Jan when the bad weather might be taking its toll on Roofe. Think Edmondson and Clarke can do a few shifts as well. Roberts still to convince me but sure he has something to offer. Typical though get a new job, get your feet under the table then have a couple of months on sick lol.

Dallas leading the line, I mean he runs like a dog after a ball, he's not got a bad shot, but he'd get sucked into the midfield battle too much. no promotion winning team uses last seasons reserve RB/ LB as a striker. Roberts now next in line for me, alioski is even a better hout, izzy brown has also played there.
