McCormack is on his way, I've no doubt, too many rumours doing the rounds now with no denials from the mouths of the horses.

1.) 13 Aug 2013
The selling of Rossco would just turn the fans against GFH-C, It would undo all they have done so far so makes no sense unless they had a Top goal scorer linded up to replace him, and that ain't going to happen any time soon. MOT

2.) 13 Aug 2013
McDermott and McCormack have done nothing but deny these rumours all summer, how many more times do you want them to do it. Rumours aren't always true otherwise we'd of signed beckford 50 times in the last 3 transfer windows

3.) 13 Aug 2013
Would be absolute stupidity to sell to rival. Which mouths do you want to hear from, beyond McD saying he's not for sale and the player saying he's not going anywhere?

4.) 14 Aug 2013
He will leave. We have the perfect replacement in diouf. Fully fit I'm afraid McCormack won't make BM starting eleven. Diouf was by far our most influential player last season. BM as big plans for him, he recently referred to diouf as a one-off. The transfer funds will b used to strengthen other areas,,, CW

5.) 14 Aug 2013
McDermott said last week that he did not want to sell Ross and Ross did not want to move. Bids have been made by Blackpool and Middlesbrough and rejected.

What do you want McDermott to do? Constantly refresh this page and issue a fresh denial every time an unsubstantiated rumour appears on here?

6.) 14 Aug 2013
I work in boro, in local paper evening gazette, that noises coming from within club are saying he is for sale at right price Mowbray weighing up his next move

7.) 14 Aug 2013
McDermott said he's happy with Ross and Ross said he's happy at Leeds. What more do you want?
After Ross denied the Blackpool rumours on a well known social network site, the players were told that they aren't allowed to speak about transfer speculation.

8.) 14 Aug 2013
"I work in boro, in local paper evening gazette, that noises coming from within club are saying he is for sale at right price Mowbray weighing up his next move"

The whole team is available for the right price mate, that's why Bates sold out.

. the question is whether Boro can afford the 'right' price for McCormack?

If Leeds do sell him (which I hope they don't) I would expect the price to be more than double what you are currently offering.

9.) 14 Aug 2013
No matter how good diouf is or isn't, there is no way he will oust McCormack from starting line up, even if he starts diouf he will accommodate McCormack by dropping somebody else, he can play either tip of the diamond, wide or upfront!

10.) 14 Aug 2013
Every player is for at the right price

11.) 14 Aug 2013
The 'right price' is 3.5-4m - Boro can't afford him.

12.) 14 Aug 2013
Yeah cause the gazette's been spot on so far!

13.) 14 Aug 2013
"I work in boro, in local paper evening gazette, that noises coming from within club are saying he is for sale at right price Mowbray weighing up his next move

for the record, am a leeds fan and don't want him to leave as much as the next man, just reporting what was recorded and that this was coming from the club, if you are all so adamant he's not leaving, why get stressed about it on here.
For the record though if he does go it will be for a lot less than some people on here are quoting

14.) 14 Aug 2013
It's clear BM doesn't fancy RM as a out and out striker, he's only managed to accommadate him recently as a attacking midfielder in the diamond formation, however a fit diouf will give BM a better options with his ability to dictate a game . I also think RM getting game time will b limited, and for that reason BM will sanction the move to free up extra cash

Saying we don't want to sell him and I don't want to be sold is way different from saying we are not seeling him and I'm not being sold. They are saying the former, that's why the poster says there are no denials. He/she is right, there are not.

17.) 14 Aug 2013
If we got offered £3.5m for him, BMcD would take that all day long, get Sharp on loan, Mills in for £1m and a winger for another £1m and use the rest towards wages for the three of them!

18.) 14 Aug 2013
Think a lot of you are giving Diouf way more credit than he deserves, yeah he was one of the more influential players in one of the worst seasons we have had in ages but he is slow and hangs onto the ball too long - he cannot and does not dictate games like some of you are saying. I personally think Ross is far better and will get a starting place before Diouf any day.

19.) 14 Aug 2013
Your pissed mate suggesting RM better than EHD. That's like comparing Leeds too accrington stanley . If RM wants to start impressing me maybe he needs to start with winning over Gordon strachan. Diouf shone last season inspite of playing NW huff ball. Imagine how much better he
'l b under the BM system with the beast Austin terrorising opposing teams and giving EHD the platform to perform. Even BM decribes him as a one-off. It's happy day at the mo mate. x

20.) 14 Aug 2013
Diouf can pick a pass far better than McCormack and keeps hold of the ball far better. I would though play Diuof in the role McCormack is playing at present, drop Varney and play McCormack as our main striker where I think he would be far more a danger to opposition than he is at present

21.) 14 Aug 2013
"Holds on the the ball too long"? That's called possession, right? Something we couldn't do last year without diouf playing, and makes the opposition have to work harder?!

22.) 14 Aug 2013
Agree with the poster stating Diouf not as influential as some seem to think. He is a very capable player and playing off a front two would be an ideal spot for him.
Also think that Ross would move up front when Diouf is fit but I suspect if the offer is around 2.5 million, we'll be thanking him for his contribution and looking for the next move. Time, however, is very short and the price of players tends to shoot upwards as the transfer window starts to close.

23.) 14 Aug 2013
McDermott has said something. He said last week that he doesn't want to sell, Ross doesn't want to leave and that was that.

24.) 14 Aug 2013

Not necessarily mate, can also be classed as being greedy and not passing to team mates when they are open, which is something he has a tendency to do in my opinion.

Ross mac wants to stay, said it enough times in recent weeks on his twitter, it all comes down to whether the club get what they deem a offer they can't turn down, nearer 2 mil will test the clubs resolve.

26.) 15 Aug 2013
I don't want to go to work tomorrow, but I have to.
