Red Bull story hits YP. Getting mainstream means deal getting closer. I want this to happen. I love Red Bull. But not as much as I love Leeds.

Maybe a new drink in the offing? White Bull. In honour of Leeds United and us the greatest fans on earth.

1.) 19 Jul 2013
Will White Bull give us Wing-ers?

2.) 19 Jul 2013
On ITV news now as well!

3.) 19 Jul 2013
If Red Bull's involvement means we get a substantial amount of money to spend, which could get us out of this dreadful league I'm all for it, would like if possible to keep the home shirt as white as possible and if the stadiums name is changed hopefully to something like Elland Road Red Bulls instead of Leeds Red Bulls

4.) 19 Jul 2013
Ya. Tommy Steele. Little White Bull. Sounds Good even now. Better white than Red. !

5.) 19 Jul 2013
Yeh - then we could all sing that tommy whatsisname song "little white bull" in the kop. ha ha

6.) 19 Jul 2013
You could have different greats from the past on each can.

Norman Hunter, Yeboah, you get the drift.

7.) 19 Jul 2013
Just because its hit the paper doesn't mean it's close. How long was it after the news of the takeover was announced that it actually happened

8.) 19 Jul 2013
I can't honestly believe you would all rather sell the soul of the club for a bit of money! Not me I would rather keep the identity & history of our club in place than become another circus like Man City, for all the success they might have had I still feel it isn't worth it. just my opinion of course!

9.) 19 Jul 2013
I hope this pays off :)

Anyway, all they'd get is a shirt sponsorship and/or stadium rename which I'm happy with. Look at Newcastle Utd. their stadium is supposedly called Sports Direct Arena but who actually calls it that. not many. most people still call it St James' Park so tbh I wouldn't be too concerned about that. The home shirt wouldn't be changed from white to red nor would Leeds Utd be renamed. Compared to the other teams they've sponsored we're massive in terms of support/history etc and tbh just because they have Red in their name doesn't mean that everything they do is in red. Look at their F1 team. the red bull cars are blue not red and if you look at the NYRB home shirt it is white so I'm not too concerned.

Having a sponsorship deal with Red Bull would significantly improve our chances of getting back to the big time so I'm happy with it and so should u guys!!

RED bull. Are we serious? Do we really want to be associated with that colour?

11.) 19 Jul 2013
They aren't taking over so they won't be rebranding the club in any way no need to panic! The most they will do is buy stadium naming rights and sponsor the kit. They won't change the team to Leeds Red Bulls or make us play in red I don't see why so many people are panicking

12.) 19 Jul 2013
Guys is all about money, I don't care what the stadium is called, to all leeds fans it will always be Elland road no matter what they put on a sign outside, Money will make a better team and get us out of this league, wake up and smell the coffee

Anyone with an issue with the word Red needs to get over their prejudice and move with the times. This can only be good for the club.

14.) 19 Jul 2013
Got no problems at all with Red Bull sponsering us and re naming the stadium if it benefits the club and enables it to regain premiership status and stay there, whatever they call it, it, l always be elland road to me, football nowadays is dictated by £, big transfer fees, big wages etc etc. we at the moment even under new owners cannot compete with certain teams in this league, smaller clubs but with rich/ambitious backers, so with and maybe redbull coming in things will hot up and we, l see the club progress finally as it should be doin, but sadly didn, t under bates, I would love to see this club be like it did in the late 90, s with a mixture of mainly local youth in the team, along with a few other class older players, beating the big boys and playing in europe mostly every year, they were great and exciting times, and as long as whoever is running the club doesn, t go over board with the finances as ridsdale and board did, we, l hopefully be ok.

15.) 20 Jul 2013
I hope the Red Bull F1 cars get our badge on them

16.) 20 Jul 2013
Better DEAD than RED no BULL. MOT

17.) 20 Jul 2013
I like the "little White Bull" reference; I seem to remember Tommy Steele led "Abide With Me" at the 1972 cup final. Of course we all know what happened next. PK

18.) 20 Jul 2013
Why does anyone think they'd make us wear Red? NY Red Bulls and FC Salzburg Red Bulls both play in white and have a blue away kit!

19.) 20 Jul 2013
Cant help hearing "Red Bull", and "Elland Road", and ending up with "Red Belland Road"
(Bellend) LOL
Seriously a full deal like NYC can be the return to power for LUFC. I'll back it, even with the "Red Bull Elland Road". MUFC Has nothing to do with it. But Kit change to red. sacriligeous (Spelling err?)

20.) 20 Jul 2013
Bring red bull on! Can only be a good thing money coming into the club. As for the fans who have an issue with the word red being associated with Leeds, get over yourselves, do you really think the Manchester give our team a second thought these days? That rivalry has well and truly gone, we haven't even been in the same division for over 10 years

21.) 20 Jul 2013
People keep going on about the word red search on google images for leeds utd red away kit and you will find we have played in it b4

22.) 20 Jul 2013
Hav to admit these "angry" red folks is rubbish. The fact that they wouldn't change colour
Man U play in red, liverpool play in red therefore I can't see our white colour changing to red, whether the FA allow or not. Away strip I don't care. Now the white bulls really appeals to me. Esp as the MUFC are the red devils. LEEDSFAN1968

23.) 20 Jul 2013
2 options

1)Keep the club as it is now stagnate in the championship for a few years and then go back down to league 1, after watching a shocking display at walsall today, it could well happen

2)Red bull come onboard show ambition, build a good team/squad, get back into the premier league.

We need to move with the times, because the current situation ain, t working.

24.) 21 Jul 2013
You're predicting what will happen this season because of a pre season game? Pretty shallow

25.) 22 Jul 2013
The red vs white thing goes back further than Man U v Leeds. It's the colours of the roses of Lancaster and York, the white rose of Yorkshire.
It's a deep cultural thing with many Yorkshiremen. look across the Penines, though and you'll find precious little culture in Manc-land. Aside from that, Man U's fanbase is made up overwhelmingly of people from outside of Greater Manchester. they really don't care about the history or traditions. Times are changing but should we really perpetuate this increasingly one-sided rivalry? More Man U fans care about the rivalry with Liverpool than us. Whatever might be proposed, I'll be backing it. We didn't even play in white until Revie decided we should.
