leeds in talks with nahki wells, leeds have tabled a 2mil offer while reading have tabled 2.5mil. Also luke varney is getting interest from charlton

1.) 29 May 2013
That would be a good signing

2.) 29 May 2013
No way is Wells worth that amount of money, I million tops should get him,

3.) 29 May 2013
I have friends who know Nahki and although he would like to prove himself at a higher level he would like to play on at Bradford at least for another season as he feels he owes something to the club that gave him his first proper chance in English football. However the decision maybe out of his hands as if Bradford receive a bid for the right amount then they will take the money.

4.) 29 May 2013
Not good enough at that price

5.) 29 May 2013
250K-300K max a 2nd division player who before bradfords run in the FA cup was an unknown.

Would defo take a chance at that price but any higher better proven quality out there

6.) 29 May 2013
Rumoured Bradford looking at £1-1. 25m so we would be stupid to bid more than that

7.) 29 May 2013
He is not worth £2.5m

8.) 29 May 2013
Needs to bulk up, too lightweight, physicality of higher leagues will not suit him

9.) 29 May 2013
I know a few City fans and they would laugh at that offer and snap all hands off, no way good enough for championship

10.) 29 May 2013
Nahki Wells contract runs till 30. 06. 2013 his market value is only £150. 000 clearly it will cost more to take him from City, but that's his worth.

Leeds would be mad to spend more than £400k on a relatively unknown player.

Yes he's scored 40 goals in 98 competitive appearances for a 22 year old in League 2 & CONCACAF World Cup qualification for Bermuda, however he's still unproven & signing him would be a gamble.

im informed wells is from bermuda and is tied to bradford under some deal and not sure if they can sell him yet that's quoted to me off a bradford fan not sure if its true mick oldham whites

12.) 30 May 2013
Wouldn't have thought this would be a cash deal at 1mill. 500k plus with appearance/performance triggers and sell-on clause would round up to about 1.5 million but definitely not worth that for cash. Headline writers and rumour-mongers never break down a deal, just report the headline figure

13.) 30 May 2013
Bradford's reluctance to sell to geographical rivals will raise the price to a level that we will be wary of paying for a player that would be most likely to feature as an impact sub (there's no way he could lead the attack; and McCormack is a shoe-in as the second, or 'hole' striker). Chapel A

If we don't buy him it looks like somebodies going to before long if there's any substance to all this banter. More hopefull agent hype if you ask me. can't see him coming to the Mighty Whites
