On the southampton fans page it says that leeds are close to agreeing a 1.5 million pound move for billy sharp. Shows financial backing which is good

He would be a great signing and not afraid to go in where it hurts/ let's hope this is the first of many decent signings to come.

Rubbish mate! WE HAVE NO MONEY!! The Mancini sacking might have scuppered the Byram deal.
The sale of Sam is our only hope for money!

Don't you love the negativity of some Leeds fans. It's almost that they hope we won't succeed. {Ed013's Note - Tell me about it, but unfortunately its the clubs own doing}

4.) 21 May 2013
Just love the fact that some fans know we have no money, they must be higher up the pecking order on us wait and see what happens fans lol

5.) 21 May 2013
Does not say anything about sharpe and leeds on southampton fans page!

6.) 21 May 2013
For that amount I'd want le fondre

7.) 21 May 2013
Nicky Maynard, now recovered from injury, and low on pecking order at Cardiff would be a better bet IMO

Lufc kek. R u mr happy?

9.) 21 May 2013
If you are talking about the southampton page yes this is true. I've seen it

Seems to switch clubs a lot. Is he a bit one-dimensional? In other words, are there better options out there? If not, then fair enough. though it does make me wonder what Warnock was thinking of when he virtually drove Becchio out of the club (slagging him off publicly after Barnsley, putting in train a self-fulfilling prophecy about Becch's 'head being turned, ' which no one would otherwise have found out about, given Luciano's reticence with the media. ) Chapel A

Nicky Maynard now recovered from injury- hear this every season so what does it say about him?

12.) 22 May 2013
Get over Becchio for God's sake. There are better players out there. He wasn't getting a game for Norwich and I'm not surprised. Alright he owes us nothing, but he was never the best

13.) 22 May 2013
There may be better players out there than Becchio -but they're not ours! When we've managed to get a striker with a better goals-to-games ratio in, then we can 'get over' Warnock's crazy decision to drive him out of the club mid-season. Of course he had many limitations as a footballer, but when a club has as little apparent leverage in the transfer market as we do, you don't give up an asset who's performing so well, at the level the club's currently at, so easily. That's the point -not the abstract merits of Becchio as a footballer per se. Chapel A
